Getting it done for April!

I just finished all my workouts. Leonardo's Secret workout almost did me in:cool: lots of plunges and that for 20 min.

Hi all!

Yesterday - no wo. :( Track meet, so of course it was cold and raining. When we got home, all I wanted was warm dry clothes warm food, and to snuggle under blankets.

Today - it's raining and the temperature is dropping so it might be turning to snow. Thank goodness no accumulation expected, but still . . . it's the end of April! Was planning on a run to work the glutes (still lightly feeling those hip thrusts from the other day - can I see my butt rising/rounding yet?), so we'll see.

Belinda - I think you will be sore all over with that rotation! Definitely hitting every muscle group!

Heidi - what are your plans?

Well, another day with no wo. Last night was cold, rainy with periods of snow, and since there was a fundraiser at a local restaurant for school, decided to forgo the run and had some wine with dinner.

So, the rain should be ending in a few hours, and then it's clear for days! No excuse not to get in that run tonight.

Hope you are better at making time for yourself than I am.

I got in my run! Yay! So happy! 2.5 miles, plus a dog walk - of course, 'cause the rain finally stopped and the sun came out.

Belinda - Good job! Sounds like the variety will make the rotation a lot of fun.

Long week for me! I just finished a workout: XT All Out Low Impact HiiT.
Yesterday and weds was a bust for my workouts. I was super sore anyway in my upper back abs and shoulders.
Monday I did JM#1 from body rev.
Tues: circuit and run

Belinda: How are you liking those workouts from JM BR series? Have a great one today!

Sherry: Great job on your run yesterday! We have about the same weather it seems. At least today it is sunny! I hope that this weekend it will be nice for once. Need to get yard stuff done.

Usual weekend stuff going on here, but I did get in my dog walk, 2.5 mile run, and 100 rep challenges for shoulders, bi's and tri's - I should be feeling those tomorrow! Was wonderfully warm and sunny for a change!

Belinda - Hope you had fun in DC.

Heidi - Were you able to get that yard work done? Just about time to get started here. Picking up branches from all the storms has been the extent so far. At least the ivy is finally taking in the spot in the yard where I can't get anything else to grow. Expect it to take off this year and really fill in.

Relaxing for the rest of the evening. Hope you had a good one!
 
Morning Sherry and Belinda!

Yesterday was a bust for anything....Up at 3am to get my DD off to the airport. Tried to go back to bed when I got home at 6am but no luck. Rest of the day was just hanging out in a daze.
Finally went to bed at 7:30 and slept until 3am! Argh! I did get back to sleep again until 7am so that helps.

Up doing the usual weekend stuff too Sherry. It never ends......Sunny but still chilly here. What type of Ivy did you plant? I tried a Vinca ivy but it is very slow to grow or spread and it has been there in that one spot for YEARS! LOL! ;)

It is so nice to see all the fruit trees in blossom. :) Very pretty.

Sherry: Nice job on your walk, run and weight workout. How are those arms and shoulders doing today? ;)
Will you be doing a workout today or is it a rest day? I guess that would depend on the DOMS. HEHE
I did a workout which included shoulders and I was sore all week!

Belinda: How are you doing? What are your plans today?

We had lots of fun in Washington DC. Yesterday I did JMBR cardio 1 in the morning and in the evening I did TJ Ab Jam.Today is a rest day. Maybe I do some stretching?

Heidi - I like JM BR workouts. They are short and sweet. Are you doing the 12 week rotation? I just finished week 1. We also dropped off DS's girlfriend at the airport at 4 pm.

Sherry - fantastic job on your workouts. What rotation are you following these day's?

Dog walk this morning. Driving skills workshop with DS this afternoon. Lower Body Trisets Express Premix plus 100 Challenge Hip Thrusts tonight. All done!

Heidi - It's regular old English ivy, the kind that is durable through everything. Had to try several times, and this last time really babied it to get it to take. Forsythia are finally blooming here, so maybe spring has finally come.

Belinda - Not really doing a specific rotation. Just trying to get in 3 days of running and at least 2 days of weights per week. Evenings will be crazy with kids' sports until the end of the school year, so it's a great chance to do some of the shorter premixes.

Today was XT disc 1 chest, back and shoulder workout.

I am SORE TODAY! Hamstrings, upper and abs. :) Might be feeling today's workout tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow's plan is cardio.

Sherry: Nice job on tri sets lower and 100 rep challenge! :) I haven't been back to the yard just yet. This weekend turned into trying to catch up on my sleep. So exhausted!!!

Belinda: Oh wow great rotation plan! How was your workout today? Let me know how the next JM BR workout is. I haven't done more than disc 1 and the cardio from week 1. ;)
My shoulders were totally fried last week from just the cardio! LOL!

Quick fly by to say I did get in my wo today - dog walk plus 2.5 mile interval run finished with STS Ex Stretch.

High fives all around - looks like we all did great today!

Today I will do BBL Cardio Axe + Tummy Tuck and JMBR Phase 1, Week 2 Workout #2.

Heidi - have you done a rotation with JMBR? I am only in week 2 :D so far, I am liking these workouts. Good job yesterday.

Sherry - fantastic job, on your run yesterday.

I will be back this evening. Have to take all dogs to the vet today. That's gonna be fun.

Today was XT RIDE express #4. PHEW! I am a sweaty mess! LOL! 7 miles worth.

Sherry: Nice job on your run! Keep up the stretching I need to add in an extra one tonight for my hamstrings. They were pretty tight starting off the cycle this morning.

Belinda: Wow! Have a great workout! :) I haven't done a rotation yet with JMBR. I throw a workout in here in there from it. They are tough even though they are very simple. You know what I mean? :) Later this week I will do cardio 2 and workout 2 from the first set. Let me know how you do too. :) Have fun!

Hi Belinda: great job this morning! :) looks like a great schedule too. Your adding in extra like I am with my current rotation. ;) I am back and forth between several different rotations. Lol! It's hard for me to stick to just one!

Good evening!

Just finished my wo - Pyramid UB - even did the abs tho I forgot about those pikes on the ball at the end! Got in a dog walk earlier this evening before DD's soccer game. Finally, a game with no rain or snow!

Belinda - Looks like that rotation will keep you fit - especially with the add-ons that you do.

Heidi - Great job on your ride. Do you have a real spinning bike? We have a bike on a trainer, but I don't use it very often.

Trying to get laundry finished up and heading to bed, so catch you tomorrow.
