Getting it done for April 2014!

I did Drill Max " Scrambled Blast" this afternoon, I also did abs Just finished P90X3 Accelerator.

Sherry - enjoy your rest day! I love STS:p You will see amazing results;) LOL, about the gun show:eek::p DH and I started our 2nd round of P90X3 today:D

Belinda - Nice job adding on the abs after that wo! Looking forward to starting STS but kind of intimidated, too. Really watching my eating, as you noticed; I started keeping a food log again in myfitnesspal. Let's see what kind of results I can get!

I have Gym Style Legs and P90X3 The Warrior.

Sherry - nicely done with your Dog walk and StretchMax. Why are you intimidated? STS is nothing but weight lifting. What helps me, I lay out all my weights in advance. I also use printout, which tells me what comes next/what weight to use;) If you haven't done your 1 Max Rep, you really don't have too, IMO! You can adjust the weight each week;) Just make sure, you pick up a weight you can do for 15 Reps in M1;)

This is the rotation I am doing:
Do STS in its entirety.

Take one week off.

Do Gym Styles for one month!

Do the low impact series for two weeks.

Do Four Day Split for one month.

Do Shock Cardio Series for two weeks

Do STS Meso two and Meso three.

D1 done! Plus dog walk - actually could do the long loop because the snow/ice is finally melted. Also, finished with planks. Decided to do a 30 day plank challenge to kick start my ab work, then next month I'll start doing STS abs. Also, on weeks that I think I can get in 4 weight wo's, I'm going to double up on legs since the rear end seems to do better when worked more often - though that might be a bit much. We'll see.

Belinda - Great job on your wo's today. I like that rotation, so maybe I'll stay 3 months behind you. I think the XTrain rotation was a good start for the year, and helped me prep for STS. I used that as guideline for the weights tonight. I think it's intimidating in that it is 3-1/2 months, and I haven't been very good and staying on schedule. Since I did do XTrain for 90 days, maybe I'm finally getting there. Nice that Collage is coming back - that's how I found Cathe.

As you can see, I am finally keeping up on Myfitnesspal. Eating a bit off today - miscalculated the calories, but still just above target, not hugely. I'm going for 1500 calories/day, with a 40/40/20 split.

Heidi - What are your plans for the week/

I will do BM2 Premix: Cardio Blast + BM2 abs, this evening I will do P90X3 X3 Yoga.

Sherry - wtg, on D1:D I personally don't think you need to add another leg workout, I think you will burn yourself out:confused:I would follow/ trust the program as writing. I do a lot of plank work P90X2, almost every thing he does has plank in it:p STS isn't any different than Xtrain, IMO! Everything is laid out for you;) STS is my all time favorite weight program:D Which rotation are you doing? The one with the Shock Cardio? On MFP I have my cal set at 1600:eek: And you eat those cal you burned from exercising, right? I am every active!

I am still doing the XT and LIS rotation in the XT guide book. This is week 4.
Yesterday I did AB.
Today was XT Burn sets for bi and tri.
Tomorrow is Turbo Barre. OH MY!

Next week I am switching over to the Lean schedule of P90X3. :)

Have you already started your p90x3 lean rotation? Or starting soon?

My XT and LIS rotation was suppose to be 90 days but I am switching to lean rotation after this week. This week would make 4 full weeks on the othe rotation.

I wil start next week Monday. :)

WO done - D3-Legs plus dog walk and planks. Using XTrain as my guide for weights since I didn't do 1RM's. Some nice DOMS in the pecs today thanks to all those push-ups. ;)

I'm following the weights of the 3-1/2 month STS rotation, but not the cardio. I'm looking at the soccer schedule, and there are weeks where DD has 3 soccer games on weeknights, which means I won't get in wo's on those days, maybe not even a quick run. So, I'm prioritizing weight work, and then getting in cardio where/when I can. I won't feel so stressed about not following the rotation this way.

Belinda - Great job with your double workouts today!

Heidi - Nice work today on the B&T's!

Ok, so it's spring break, and DD wants ice cream, so I'll just get a little bit. Have a good evening.

WO done - dog walk, 2 mile run, STS Ex Stretch (really like that post run) and planks. That's enough. However, now we're headed to the store to get ingredients for cheesecake. I'm not sure DD on spring break is good for my waistline! LOL!

Belinda - Great job today! My DH finished the first rotation and hasn't done anything since. This last month of the semester really has him loaded down.

Good Evening!

No wo tonight - time got away from me. Maybe I'll double up tomorrow - some running and D2. Need to work off the cheesecake. DD and friends made it. Came out just like it should - a recipe from my grandma. I think I'll be glad when spring break is over and we go back to our chaotic but not so fattening schedule.

Belinda - What did you decide to do for cardio? Or did you do a leg wo instead? I'm sure you did get in P90X3.

Heidi - Love those CSS's! Enjoy HiiT tomorrow. I see you are embarking on P90X3. I'm trying to keep going on STS.
