I am starting W4 of my rotation. I will do LIC today again. I also need to get some abs in;)


What are your plans today?

This weekend was a bust for my w/o's planned. Sat. I spent the day cooking and Sunday was just house stuff. I was really tired yesterday so I caught a nap. ;)

Today I am playing catchup too. So I did STS disc 24 back and biceps. I then did the cardio & stretch portion of S&G.
Tomorrow I better eat my wheaties! I have AB on tap!!!

I am almost done with this Jan rotation YEAH! I plan on doing a rotation using Jillian M next. Or If Cathe has an interesting next month I may do that.... ;)

Sherry: I thought you had your plate full last week. :) Great job on your workouts and runs this weekend.

Belinda: Thank you for getting us started. Have fun with LIC! :)

My husbands surgery is on Thursday, I wll not be around much the days he is in the hospital. Please, keep him in your payers!

Heidi - I am always beat after houeswork and cooking. Heck, you are on your feet all day long:eek: Did you get all your workout in today? I still have to work my abs, but now they have to wait unil tomorrow. I was thinking on doing a Bob Harper rotation:eek:

Sherry - what are your plans today? Nice job, on all your workouts this weekend. I need to get some runs in, haven't ran in 3 weeks:(

Hi all!

Run did get done tonight! Ran while the DS was at soccer practice. Winds were whipping at 30 mph. Wondering if I'm borderline insane. But practice is too far away to drive there, home, then back again. All I'd be doing is driving, so I feel I made good use of my time. And using the cars to protect me from the wind, I was also able to get in a good stretch (iStretch Athletic 20 min - very handy to have on my phone!).

Belinda - Will be thinking of DH. Those hospital days can get long. Take care of yourself, too! Bob Harper rotation? I think you've been reading Wendy's posts. :)

Heidi - Try AB in person with Cathe - it feels even more intense! 'Course, you can't go and change the laundry while you let her just keep going. :) You'll be feeling it afterwards!

Funny you mention Wendy....I was just going to say the same to Belinda.

Belinda: You should check in with Wendy about the Bob Harper DVD's. She is getting some really awesome workouts from those! :)
Nice job on your LIC workout yesterday. Have fun with AT and your abs. I really need to get back to doing abs too! ;)

Yesterday I did get in my workout and boy did it ever get me! I did the STS #24 Back and Biceps. Then followed up with the Cardio/stretch pre-mix from S&G.

Today's plan: AB! Oh Boy I am already sore but mainly in my upper from yesterday's STS #24. Tri's and lats are super sore today! I hope there are no push-ups to do...I will probably fall flat on my face for sure. LOL!

Workout is done! Getting ready to walk the dogs, it's windy...but the sun is out;)

Heidi - holy crap on that cal burn:eek: Awesome job, girl! I will talk to Wendy next time I am on FB.

BTW, my husbands hip replacement surgery is on Thursday, I will not be around much. If all goes well, he should be coming home Sunday. Please, keep my DH in your prayers!

Hey Belinda! Awesome job on your workout! :) What abs did you do today?

Oh that AB workout is a calorie burner for sure! My clothes were soaked after too!
I just put in my food calories and I am -892...guess I better eat something... ;)

I am keeping my fingers crossed for your DH! Wishing him luck and you lots of hugs. :)
It is hard being the one in the waiting room for sure!

Hi all!

No wo today - forced rest day due to scheduling. Did I really think I'd be able to start an STS rotation with my work travel and the kids in track?

Belinda - Great job taking care of yourself! Will keep DH in my thoughts and prayers.

Heidi - Awesome calorie burns! Did you get that sundae?

BB tomorrow night, in which I do plan to get in a run when I get back home - don't want to get too far off schedule. Plus, it's not supposed to be quite as windy . . . see ya then.
 
Good Morning!

Just logging in my interval outdoor run for today. ;) I am sore all over!!! So today i just did an easy outdoor interval using the couch to 5K app on my phone.

20min @ Avg 13.00 per mile 2.30T miles This was a 1 min run/1.30min walk
then ran home easy using my Nike+ monitor: 11min mile: .97T at a hr of 166.

I ran home raster than during my training run! LOL! This is due in part to the hills during the first part I am or sure! :)

That's it for today. Will definetly do some easy stretching!

Off to shower and my day.

Sherry: I hear ya on those sort of days.... I used to do a ton of running around when my kids were all in school. Now it is work and running my Mom around. LOL!

It was a little windy here but felt awesome!

Belinda: What are you up to today? I know you have a lot to get preparred for tomorrow but I just want to wish your DH good luck and a speedy recovery from his surgery tomorrow. :)

Just a quick check: Did Trisets LB today. Tomorrow I will take a rest day tomorrow (today was a scheduled rest day, did tomorrows's workout today;))

I will try to be back tomorrow night, after my husbands surgery! Thanks again for all the prayers! I am not looking forward to tomorrow:(

I promise I will catch up on this weekend. good job on your workouts everyone!

My shins are a little sore from yesterday. Tomorrow I have another run day planned. Going to go easy though.

Just a quick update on DH! Surgery went well. His surgery was around 5:30 pm last night (was scheduled for 2:30pm:confused:). He was in the recovery room until 10:45 pm. Aleisa and I didn't get home until after midnight, drive was amost 2 hours ...the traffic was great:confused: I will keep you all updated.

Thanks for all your prayers! I am so thankful that everything went well.I will catch up on my workouts on Sunday, doesn't look like I will get anything in today or tomorrow?

Hi all!

Belinda - That's great news! How quickly will he be starting therapy? Seems like they get it going pretty quickly. Don't forget to take care of yourself!

Heidi - Excellent job on your sweaty wo! My runs are 12-15 miles/week right now, but they'll be starting to ramp up here as the weather warms. I am doing a much better job of stretching well every time and continuing with at least one day of legs, so don't expect the IT band issues to rise again.

Didn't realize that I didn't post yesterday. Did D1 and took some weights up a bit from last week just fine. Some initial stiffness this a.m. that's all loosened up now. Still doing push-ups on my knees. I think next week I'll go with some toes. Just realized that I forgot abs . . .

Today's plan is a tempo run, so that'll push me as I up the pace.

Awesome job on upping the weights yesterday! :) Your weekly miles are good too along with the stretching after.

Oh...try doing half and half on the push-ups. :)

Tomorrow is suppose to be a rest day for me. Sunday I have LIS Turbo Barre Lower on tap.

Hi all!

So we came home yesterday to find the fridge had died. So the evening was spent cleaning up food, moving what was still good to the spare fridge, and shopping for a new one, which fortunately was delivered today. However, dinner wasn't until late, and there was no way to get in the run then.

Today I did do that tempo run, and although I did it, I had a hard time keeping pace. Still need to get in D's 2 & 3 to get back on track with STS. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Heidi - did you get the rest day? How was dinner? Healthy? We've been so busy lately, that I'm really hurting in that area. I can find enough time to either get in a wo or cook a clean meal, but not both. Gotta get that under control.

Belinda - How's DH? Do they have him starting to move around yet? Seems like they push recovery after surgeries these days.

Finally getting to sit down for the nite. I'm pretty worn out, so I might just be falling asleep shortly after I find a cushion. :)
