Getting a better physique???

I was curious how many of you have a lean, muscular physique similar to Cathe's? What kind of body did you start with, what kind of workouts did you do to achieve it (type, duration, etc), how long did it take and how strict was your diet? I know, I know, lots of questions! I have lost about 20# in the past year, but still feel "flabby". I want to lean out, looked toned.

Tell it to me straight--is it impossible for some of us to achieve the body we want?

I am NOT afraid of hard work and making the commitment, although I admit my diet is not always "clean". Do I need to lift heavy? Light? Lots of cardio? Just curious. Thanks for any advice you have!
