<--- tells Nance she uses a can of crushed tomtatoes in puree and adds kosher or sea salt, fresh ground pepper, dried oregano, flat leaf parsley, minced garlic, and a little olive oil...doesn't really measure anything but would guess that for a 15 oz can she uses about a 1 to 1 1/2 tsp of oregano and about the same amount of parsley, about 3 cloves of garlic (loves garlic and likes to go heavy with it), and about a TBS of oil, and s&p to taste.
