GENERAL: PLEASE READ!! ATTN: EVERYONE

not sure how this fits in if it all but as I'm fixing breakfast and reading the post, I think it's not correct for lack of a better word to say issues relating to *sex* are dirty. Here we are in the 2000's and still refering to *sex* as dirty. Now that needs to be cleaned up. But I do understand where she is trying to lead this board and the women. Ladies can get very riskay, more so than men and do tend to go a bit over. You can see Cathe's style. You can see her format, the Woman has class. She just wants her board to represent Class for all who may enter. News people, reports, who knows who comes a gandering round these parts. She would prefer not be be known as a internet gossip column, maybe. JMHO on the *clean* word. Now off to eat.

But, tybody, that's what everyone seems to be up in arms about, IMHO.

Edited to say, unless some of posters that complain take responsibility for what they deem is inappropriate, we will never know. I for one have chosen to "just be myself". I just turned 50 this year and I've decided I'm over worrying so much about other people's feelings. I can see by some of the comments thanking Cathe that they, obviously didn't have a problem making some of the newbie's here feel unwelcome. It's an age old problem of social behavior and I'm just not going to worry about it anymore.

Now, back to Cathe as usual, I guess. There will be posts and there will be disagreements and people will get ugly with one another and we will be corrected and things will calm down.

This, too, shall pass :)

I agree with Kathryn that posting topic categories is unnecessary. I also agree that being more clear in thread titles is the easiest way to avoid reading topics you're not interested in.

I'm thinking that those of us who want to use topic Categories can (if I can remember to--with this brain it's questionable!) and those who just want to be clear in the subject can do that. They both serve the same purpose--making skimming easier.

I think it's a good way to keep everyone happy. Those interested in fitness only can find the easy and those who like everything can keep posting.

No hard and fast rules, except "keeping it clean." I'm sure we will have an adjustment period for that too. But like someone said (I can't remember who, sorry) if those people who were offended would chime in it would help. We won't pass judgement on each other but it would help everyone get what they want.

Going on vacation now--see you on Wednesday! Have a great stress-free week everyone! Life's to short to stress!

Good idea about distinguishing threads though. Maybe

just wanted to clarify, the *good idea etc.is not mine. The quotes got mixed up. lifestyle etc. is not my part of the conversation. Just in case.I did say the top quote though and th
