gained pounds w/ muscle max?

Ugggggh! I had a doc. appt. today and much to my shock I've put on some weight. Well-meaning friends are trying to convince me it's muscle, which it could be, but it still doesn't feel good (which is one of the reasons I don't own a scale). I've been running four times a week as usual, and been doing MM 2x/week for the last six weeks or so - so many people have talked about great results with MM. With that DVD I can go heavier than with Power Hour or Muscle Endurance. Anyone else noticed gaining pounds like that? If it really is muscle I know that's okay because it's not fat. But psycholigically it's really messing with me!
 
It seems like no matter how much we KNOW, we always succumb to that $%*%^%$* number on the scale. If your clothes fit well or seem loose, then I'm sure you lost inches and gained muscle, accounting for your weight gain. Also, if you've been doing this workout for 6 weeks it's probably a good idea to switch it up. Good luck!
 
Perhaps you put on some "weight"...but I bet you look good. Yeah, I notice pound gains when lifting weights. But I can pull my old pants off without even unbuttoning them.
