So here's what I'm thinking - the number of medals a country receives in the Olympics should be considered in the context of its population. For instance, at this moment the United States has 6 medals in the Winter Olympics. Canada currently has 3 (so far!). Canada has one tenth the population of the States. So really, if you were to equalize for population, Canada has the equivalent of 30 medals in comparison to the States' mere 6 medals. Just sayin', y'all...
