Fun with numbers...

So here's what I'm thinking - the number of medals a country receives in the Olympics should be considered in the context of its population. For instance, at this moment the United States has 6 medals in the Winter Olympics. Canada currently has 3 (so far!). Canada has one tenth the population of the States. So really, if you were to equalize for population, Canada has the equivalent of 30 medals in comparison to the States' mere 6 medals. Just sayin', y'all...

LOL! Good try girl! USA, USA, USA . . . !!!!

I'm just kidding! I don't really follow the Olympics. I think it's fantastic whenever ANY one of those amazing athletes wins a medal! When you consider they've trained for it all their lives and then to be one of the few to get on the team, then one of the even fewer to win a medal - it's just beyond fantastic for them, regardless of what country they're from!

I'm only watching the nights that Stephen Colbert is going to be there! I'm a really big fan!
