Fuller Back?

I realized last summer that I have been neglecting my back and that my arms were looking a little too big without the full back to go with it :)
So I started focusing on heavy lifting for that area in September. My rotations are typically 4 weeks, but every so often (like all of May and most likely June for example) I change the workout around a little every workout.
I have seen some great progress, however Im not sure it's as good as it could have been with the right routines. Seems like I could have gained more if I had done things different, then again maybe I just don't have the genentics and it WILL take more time.
Either way Im ready to do whatever it is I have to do.
I am a mix of Endomorph and Mesomorph. I workout at home and am not afraid of getting too big :)
I have been lifting for several years so I have done most things with moderate to heavy weights (I never use light weights unless Im throwing in a few endurance days/weeks to rest from the heavy).
Working out at home though makes it hard to come up with exercises that would fill out the back (lats im thinking?) with barbell, dumbells and resistance bands and bench.
So I feel im at a bit of a "plateau" here. In the past I have rested 3 or 4 days between (what I consider to be) a heavy lifting day.
Im thinking about trying another approach and perhaps lifting the heavy sets only ONCE per week, resting 3 or 4 days and then doing a day with more endurance-style, compound moves. Such as dreadrow clean and presses. Also doing just a little heavier-than-endurance style weights and resting maybe two days.
Let me know what you advanced lifters with nice, full lats think or if you have any other suggestions..

thanks in advance!

I am not sure there is ever a "right way" to workout. A person needs to do what he/she thinks is best and/or what he/she likes. Getting a fuller back is more about nutrition than exercise. Your workouts stimulate the muscle then food & rest helps it grow. Mixing workouts up is the best, at least I think, so you shock your body and it has no way to get used to any one thing. Your idea of doing on heavy and one endurance is a good idea. Tyr it and see how it works. You might be pleasantly surprised! :)
