Full Cathe transition continues....

I did BodyMAx today...it was my second time, I also did it last Friday.

Today I attempted it on the full 8" step - BIG mistake. I was able to successfully complete the warm-up and the step routine, but I was so exhausted after that I had to just watch the circuit step/weight portion.

I joined back in for the upper body weight-training portion, cool down and stretch.

I guess I have to really work on my endurance.

I really felt so discouraged that I am struggling through these workouts and I am not able to complete them from start to finish.

WILL THIS GET EASIER AND WHEN????????
 
Just give yourself time - I am like you, in that previously I have been able to master "hard" workouts fairly easily, but Cathe is just in another league (and that's why we all love her right? Because it continues to be a challenge!). I was getting discouraged about not being able to raise the step height, and then I just decided I'll do it at 6 inches until it feels like a piece of cake, and I don't care when that is. IT'll happen someday. Endurance may be tougher for you too if you tend to be more of a sprinter-type person (expends massive energy in short bursts as opposed to endurance). I'm impressed that you made it through the step part with the step at that height and you didn't just give up. That was only the second time you did the workout, too! Just be proud that you're challenging yourself to a new level of fitness and give your body time to work up to it. It WILL follow if you don't quit on it...
