In my fitness journey, it has always been hard to practice balance alone. As I get older my balance is not what it use to be and want to improve and prevent falls and trips that could occur later in life. Heck, even young people have a hard time with balance.
We could incorporate the balance board, use our bodies, weights, weight bars, weighted gloves, bar bells even the weighted vest. Perhaps get a long board and balance on that, use our bosu that has been collecting dust in our closets. Since so much of yoga has balance in it already, perhaps include some of it in this training as well. Our cores could only improve with a workout like this.
I don't have a lot of information on how to make use of these things for balance, but I'm thinking Cathe does. She could lead us into a rigorous full body workout by just balancing and using equipment we already have.
