Frustrated and Disappointed

I need to vent a little. I have always considered myself one of the lucky Beachbody customers because I've purchased several workouts from them and never had a problem. Of course that all changed today. I was looking at my account and there are three $39.90 unauthorized charges on my credit card from Beachbody. I haven't purchased anything from them since March and those charges have already been paid. I am so frustrated that this is happening. I've e-mailed them with no response yet, but this has kind of discouraged me a little about dealing with this company. I really want to get P90X and I probably still will, but it sounds like this kind of thing goes on quite a bit and I am leary of dealing with them again. Maybe if they get it taken care of right away I'll feel better, but right now I'm really steamed.x( x(

If you haven't already done so you should call your credit card company and tell them that you dispute the charges. They will contact beachbody who has the obligation to prove the charges were authorized.

You know, I've come to a conclusion about Beachbody. I think their products are for the most part very high quality, & for some reason they think this means they don't have to provide good customer service. The first time I tried to order from them they made it so difficult I finally gave up.

I hope you don't have too tough of a time getting a credit. I got a much better response from them using their online chat than by phone or email, maybe you can give that a shot? Good luck.......
 
I have the P90X series brand new.I have all the dvd workouts,the two books.I also ordered the rubber bands and i have the pull up bar.If your interested in purchasing them.Just pm me.I never used them!!!!
 
I ordered from BeachBody 1.5 years ago and had zero problems. I am, for some reason, "The chosen One".:7

I have heard enough bad experiences to never, ever EVER order from them again! E-V-E-R!!! Can't make me!!!:D

You will get your $$$ back, but it may take a fight and a lot of time!

I just don't understand how something like this can happen....I mean, how would your credit card number even come up to place a charge against if you haven't ordered from them since March, six months ago? Is that bad customer service or is it unethical business practice?
 
I don't understand their CS either. I have ordered before without any problem, but after hearing about the number of complaints on all the fitness forums about being charged over and over again. I'm scared enough that I will not order from them ever again.

It just seems that they haven't even tried fixing this major problem which makes me feel as though they are trying to be deceptive.

Can you use Paypal to send them money? This would be a safer way rather than give them a credit card number... I was thinking of ordering some Turbo Jam DVD's but won't now because of all the problems I have read about here.
 
You would think with the number of complaints that are on every forum I read and I'm sure there are hundreds more elsewhere Beachbody would get a clue, but maybe it is just unethical business practices and not just bad customer service. If they have a few people who don't look closely at their credit cards and they can sneak a charge in there a time or two that's extra money for them. I don't know what to think, but I do think I'm done dealing with them for a while. :(

Someone posted something similar a few months ago (here or on VF?) and it later turned out that the BB system had not charged them for something earlier, and was just getting around to doing it. The poster was certain that she had already been billed for all installments, but when she checked her records, she found out BB was right.

Just a thought.

I would say more about BB, but I don't want to jinx myself;-) )
