Friday Preggos/TTC

Wel, Good morning! Sorry I never made it back yesterday. Waht a crazy day it was! Payroll, playdate, just getting things back in order from being gone. Hopefully after today/this weekend things will be back to normal. Yeah right!

This AM I have a 30 min. drive to pick up our fam pix we had taken a while back. Also going to a cute shop to look at baby decor. This afternoon we have a funeral (timely death/older lady/not sad) to go to that will take from 1PM onward with athe burial and luncheon, which will actually be more like dinner. So I may not be back after lunch to checkin.

I have not done a workout all week! I am feeling it too! I honestly don't expect that I'll be able to get one today. Tomorrow = back on track!

Hope everyone is doing well today. And I read over the posts from y'day - I am blushing like crazy - I sure don't look like a celebrity!! You guys are too sweet! I saw my secretary y'day fro the 1st time in a couple weeks and she started laughing so hard when she saw me. She said I look like a belly with arms and legs! She meant it as a compliment but yikes! I'm gettin' big!

Have a great day!

Maggie, I hope your birthing timing works out well in the end. We wish we could plan these things don't we?!

Trish, Good to "see" you last night! Good luck with packing and moving. We'll be anxious to hear fromyou again when you can.

Hey Kate! You have a busy day ahead of you.
We are leaving for TN after lunch. DH has to be at a job fair for a few hours then hopefully he'll be home by 1. DD has been up since 530 pumped about our trip. She hasnt seen her friend since Jan, so she is exicted!
Im about to walk on the tm for 40 min then tidy up.
Hi to everyone!
Anne, I do hope this is your month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Susan, Vacation excitement! How cool! I hope you guys have a great trip! Burn off some energy on the TM so you can sleep on the way! Will you be able to check in with us whiel you're gone?

I am getting so much done this AM! I need to stay home for a few days so I can really get stuff done!

Ugh--another crazy day ahead. I have to take ds 4(almost 5) to a pediatric urologist, because his circumcision was not done well and he has little "pockets" around the tip of his penis that occasionally get infected. Very hard to keep clean.

I think I'm not even going to bother with scheduling the induction now, because I'll probably get bumped--he wants to do it around the full moon. I'll just plan on being a few days late and if not, well, we'll just cross that bridge. I don't really like the idea of being induced early anyway. Now if I'm more than a few days late, that's a different story.

I've had terrible insomnia the past two nights. Last night I finally got up at 4:30 (woke up at 3:30) and worked on school stuff--I am determined to have everything ready to go for the entire year before the baby comes.

Dh is taking dds to tae kwon do camp for the weekend, so I get to watch "guy" movies with ds 13 (and eat junk in total rebellion against all the clean eaters in Cathe land--I need that devilish smiley...)

I've had no chance to look at RT pics--maybe this weekend.

Kate--my son measured my belly. It's a whopping 48 inches and I still have 3 more weeks to go. I look so funny. I will post a pic eventually, I just have to get some one to take it when I'm dressed decently. I tend to wear big sloppy dresses or workout clothes with the pant's pulled under my belly and the shirt pulled over it  at home--neither are an attractive look.

Susan--I hope you guys have a safe and fun trip--"see" you when you get back :)

Melanie--(((hugs))) if you are there. I'm just continuing to pray for you and your family.

Stephanie--good work on the clean eating and workouts.

Jenm-your schedule sounds grueling. I'm glad you and dh can spend long weekends together.

Mikki--I'm glad your niece has recovered. Hopefully your sister will accept at some point that the world is full of 24 hour stomach bugs and colds and such and that 99% of the time, kids have no lasting complications with such illnesses. It's just the way life is.

Trish--so good to hear from you--you've got a tremendous amount going on right now. I'll be praying that your move goes smoothly. I bet it will be good to have your dh around again--hurray!

Hi Jen! Hi Lisa! Hi Anne! Hi Candra! Hi Kristan! Hi Morris!

take care all!
Maggie :)
37 weeks, 4 days

Maggie, Sorry about DS! Ouch! If its any consolation, my water broke on a full moon! A few hours later out came Isabel! Sorry about the insomnia. I had it for a while and it seems to be past for now. You're brave to measure your bellly! I've never done that! Hope your day goes well.

Workout done..ahhh!
Maggie-poor ds. That must be painful too! Insomnia is an awful thing! I have never beena good sleeper, so I feel for you. I hope you get some sleep! The past 3 nights, however, I have acutally slept very well. Your weekend sound fun!
Kate-dh and I are just staying until Sunday. DD will be staying all next week. So our vacation will be at home..but thats good too. I can get a lot done around here, watch movies with dh, and do whatever I want..and NOT play for a whole week..yehaww. Im looking forward to getting my hands on baby Abbey!

Hi ladies.

Kate--You sound SO busy. I hope you are able to squeeze in some down time this weekend to rest and relax.

Susan--Have fun on your trip!! Be safe!

Maggie--Sorry about your poor ds. That must be miserable for him. Poor thing. I always worry so much about the circumcision. Part of me always wonders, "Why do I do this to my little guys!!" But, I agree that a circumcised penis is much easier to keep clean. Will they have to surgically fix the problem, do you think? Poor little guy. Sorry too about the insomnia. I had odd dreams last night and woke up at 4:30. I managed to fall back asleep at 5:30 though for an hour and a half until ds's woke up. Our pipes in the house are whistling with air in them. Everytime anyone runs water, or if the fridge icemaker runs, or the toilet downstairs spontaneously flushes (it does that sometimes). It keeps me awake some at night too. Guess we're getting that maternal light-sleeping pattern --preparing for baby.

Melanie--Still sending up prayers your way. ((hugs))

Hi to Candra, Trish, Lisa, Jen1 and Jen2, Mikkia and anyone else I missed!!
_____

Well, I had planned on taking the kiddos to Target today to do a little school shopping and to buy DH some shoes. It's a tax-free weekend here this weekend on school supplies and clothes. However, my littlest one is in a TERRIBLE mood, and I don't know if it's worth the risk of a mid-store meltdown. We'll see. Tomorrow we're going to the state fair. I SO wanted a funnel cake, but I am doing so well, I think I'll just splurge on a soft pretzel compromise. Did 4DS kickboxing (sumo-style :) ) last night plus some bicep/tricep work. Today: Butts and Guts!! Hope everyone has a great Friday!!! :)

Good morning ladies
I'm off today so i got to post late. I still woke up by 830 though. Im SO proud of myself - I did step blast AND power hour today. Whew...i was ok in stepblast until the third segment and i started getting winded. Then the challenge almost killed me. I felt naseous and out of breath so i had to stop a few times :( Goes to show how out of shape i got. that workout used to a breeze. Power hour is always rough - especially the bicep section. Cathe is a robot

While i was lifting i was wondering..is it safe to weight lift like before or should i drop my weights during the pregnancy? My husband said to me today before we got out of bed to make sure i dont lift anything heavy and to tell the cathe rt people im pregnant and i cant lift heavy. I think i've read its safe if your body feels ok. My mil didnt even want me to pick up my three year step kid and said its not safe to lift things. So..i'm a little confused i guess...any advice? im thinking what im doig is just fine

my dh has to work today dad is stopping by before 130 i have to take him to the airport. he's flying to philly! haha i fly there next friday. the airport is only like 15 mins away thank goodness. dh brought my 7 pound mini shih tzu PRincess to get gromed at petco. he made a res yesterday. i've never had a dog i had to groom before nad its my first time he said it'll be over fifty bucks!! I couldnt beleive it. She really needs it though..i'll have to look for cheaper places next time...

so i'll be around for a bit, i'm still hugnry evn tho i had eggs with tomato cheese and spinach in it with a s lice of wheat bread. It felt great to workout again, even tho i'm spent now!

Oh, before i pick up thte dog im going to browse target for workout gear. Wish me luck!

Good afternoon to everyone, i hope you all have a wonderful day.

Stephanie, LOL on sumo KB!! Perfect desciption! Tax-free shopping sounds wonderful. I wish Michigan would do that!

Jen, You won't be lifting heavy at RT. I think the heaviest was 8 lbs. You'll know when you're lifting too much, even the kids. I still carry my 4-yo. when I want to. And I'm huge! Those are 2 awesome WOs you did! ^5! We have opposite dogs! YOu have a tiny girl named Princess. I have a 150-lb. great dane named Mufasa! I'm glad he doens't need to be groomed tho I do take him in to get his bath. Great eats for you too!

HI!
Jen-great workout girl! I take my toy poodle Bubbles to get groomed at her vet. At most places if you take them every 6 weeks you get a discount. I think I pay 30 every six weeks. I groomed both our Schnauzers for nearly 17 years and I got so burned out on it..I never want to groom a dog again!
Hope everyone has a great weeekend. DH should be home in a few and then we'll leave. Talk to eveveryone soon!

Just got back from Targeting. Henry started screaming halfway through my shopping "I HAVE TO GO STINKY!!! I HAVE TO GO STINKY BAAAAAD!!!" So I had to speed shop. I'm not a fan of public bathrooms. Now, we're home, and he said he doesn't have to go anymore. I think he just wanted to use the big bathroom. UGH!!! I only bought myself a jog bra. But Jen, they had all of their Champion-brand workout stuff on sale. I took advantage of the tax-free holiday by buying the boys some shirts for school. I also bought some diapers for the baby because I had a good coupon for Swadlers. Can't believe it's only 8 1/2 weeks away!! (I'm being schedule at week 39).

Hope everyone is having a good day!!

Safe travels, Susan!!

Hi everyone!

I have been busy this morning getting my boys and dh ready to go camping again. They won't be home until Sunday afternoon. I have to clean out the playroom and get it ready for the baby while they are gone. It is too hard sorting through toys when the boys are home b/c everything becomes their favorite toy.

I spent last night in the er. Owen split his chin open on a step in the pool. They put dermabond on it so he didn't have to get stitches.

Susan- have a good weekend! Have you ever left your daughter for that long before?

Jen- I used to have a Saint Bernard and it cost over $100 to have him groomed. I will never own another dog that has long hair. I wouldn't worry about the weights. I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and I still lift the same. I still carry my 4yr old and he weighs 40 pounds.

Maggie-your poor son. That's the only thing I don't like about having boys is getting them circumcised. Have fun eating junk food:p

Stephanie- I would definitely eat the funnel cake. I planned this pregnancey around the fair so I could eat cinnamon rolls:eek: See how nice I am helping you stay on track:)

Hi Trish, Lisa, and Jen!

I hope I get a workout in today. I have my workout clothes on if that counts

Candra

Hi everyone
aw..im sorry to hear about your little boy splitting his chin open. my brother had stiches AT LEAST three times when he was young. he was always splitting his head open..crazy kid. I hope he heals ok.

I just picked up my dog..it cost $40. They SHAVED HER!! She has no hair and went from being my cuddly little black teddy bear to a chihuaua looking rat :( They told my DH they were going to shave her hair since it was matted. i guess i idnt brush it enough

i grew up with german shepherds my whole life and i've been around big dogs most of the time. we had a sharpei who was short hair and now we have an english bulldog, also shorthair. so Princess is the first doggy i have to spoil. She is so worth it. She follows me everywhere and is definately my dog. I love her...so i guess she is worth it. My mom has a mini five pound yorkie that she spoils the heck out of.

Target didnt have much but i ended up spending $120! They didnt have any sports bra tanks like i got last year, just the bra tops. So i got four of the same v neck wick away t shirts - red white black and blue haha. I got three pair of knee length workout pants (black, dark blue and black with green trim) and a pair of long black yoga pants. I sweat ALOT so i wanted dark clothes where is wont be that noticeable. I have a pretty aqua color bra tank that i'l bring too. anything i dont wear im returning becuase i spent way too much. and i got a thin zip up hoodie on clearace because i've read its cold in the gym. and some baby wipes in case i cant get in the shower! THey had a lot of tanks without support in them or just a little and i'm so flat they looked ridiculous on me. Even being prengnant..i cant grow boobs! never had em, im such a freak. you'd think being pregnant i'd be a little bigger now..sigh...

anyway, im rambling. i guess im set for my trip, just have to pack it all up and figure out what to waer for casual events and the pj stretch. im getting excited, only a week away. i dot think there will be any other pregnant ladies there. at least not that i know of.

ok...i've written enough! I hope everyone has a great weekend. DH is working the whole time and dad is out of town. i dont know anyone in florida so it will be quiet. I know i will workout the whole weekend and it felt great today, i felt back on track and hope to keep it up. at least i know next weekend i'l be getting workouts in!

Target sisters (Jen2 and Stephanie)- Missouri also has a sales tax free weekend today-sunday. Husband and I are making a date of it. I am guessing I'll spend $350 at least- I need to buy for our upcoming vacation, back to school and my daughter's 6yo birthday. I have a 10% off card AND my coupons are clipped, sorted and ready to go.

I have CATS that weigh more than some of your dogs! Our lab mix is 60 pounds and she seems too small to me. As for her grooming, she gets the garden hose on the sidewalk.

Yesterday I did BodyMax2 cardio and weights (just the cardio circuited with the upper body weights). Took it a little light on the weights and the high impact.

Stephanie, LOL on stinky BAAAAAAAAAAAD! That's too funny! You're doing great buying your diapers ahead! I usually do too but haven't yet.

Candra, ANother solo weekend?! Lucky girl! I would pay money for that right now! DDs are driving me crazy today! Maybe I can go on August RT!!?? I know what you mean about the favorite toy! DH and I do that kind of thing after they go to bed. Sorry about Owen. OUCH! How'd he take it? I've been to the ER with Isabel and neither one of us ever want to go back!

JenM - Sorry about your chihuahua-looking rat! Sounds like you're all geared up for RT! I'm so excited for you! You'll have such a good time. Wish I could meet you!

Kristan, Have fun on your Target Date! Great job with the workout! Your baby is almost a month old! How does time go by so quickly?

---------
Back from the funeral and I am completely exhausted. We didn't go to the burial or luncheon. DH stayed at work for the funeral and it is so HOT outside. I didn't want to manage the girls by myself. Isabel fell asleep so I ended up carrying her for a while and I felt braxton-hicks coming on so we came home. Mike's bringing home pizza. I WILL keep portion-controlled and eat a big salad and watermelon first. I'm likely not working out tongiht. I am whooped. I'll practice some extra hypno-birthing to make up for it!

Kate- I never want to go back to the ER either. The waiting room was scary! Owen fell asleep on the way over so I just held him and tried not to make eye contact with anyone:confused:

Kristan-have fun at Target. I am going tomorrow to pick up some bins to store toys in. I wish our Target had a no sales tax weekend.

I am still in my workout clothes and it is 5pm with no workout. I am not ruling it out yet. I just want to finish cleaning the downstairs first.
