Friday positivity!!

This is the best thread ever!:7 :7 I love your pets! I have a Newfoundland, George and when I finally figure out how to post his pic on the web, I will!

My reasons for lovin' the Cathe forums...

1. The wise women /men here who all share a common interest-fitness, health and can laugh at themselves too!

2. Cathe and her crew/workouts

3. I have never posted on any other forum on the web, just this one, it feels safe and I love it.

4. The wonderful support from everyone:)

{{{{{momma Deb}}}}} Your kitty was beautiful. My little dachshund, Siegfried, the one in the picture I posted, had to be put down shortly after his 14th birthday due to metastatic cancer. He was such a cutie patooti, and an ornery little devil to boot, but he brought incredible joy to my life.

I love all the pictures!

Carolyn, my kitty, Johnny, loves to lounge in baskets and shoe boxes...and suitcases...and paper bags:+

1.This forum topic made me laugh out loud!
2.Love the pics of doggie, kitties and babies too.
3.People are very helpful when you have a question, no matter how many times it is asked

Thanks Michele! Chelsea brought such joy to our lives too. We still come in the door and wait for her to come running to us to pick her up. I STILL hear her jump off the bed or couch when I am in another room. WEIRD! I guess after 20 years, it's hard to think she is no longer here BUT she will always be here in spirit! Sorry to hear about your precious Siegfried. :-(

Oh gosh Debbie that is so sad--I feel the same way about Cosmo, lost her in January after 16 years. Sometimes I think I see her out of the corner of my eye--& my new house is the first place I've ever lived in my adult life without her. When I was moving it was really hard to see some remaining furballs under the furniture.

Yes, they'll always be with us in spirit, won't they? What on earth would we do without our babies...........

ETA: ooops, this was supposed to be a positive Friday thread & now I'm making myself cry. Sorry for the thread drift--the positive in my post is how lucky we are to have these monsters in our lives! :)

Thanks Laura! I know how much Cosmo meant to you! :-( I also hope I didn't make this thread a downer but wanted everyone to see our Beloved Chelsea! She was truly a part of our whole family for 20 years! She brings GOOD/POSITIVE memories!

Thanks everyone! I needed a pick-me-up today! Why I love the Cathe forums:

1. It's a wonderful place to come to get cheered up
2. It keeps me focused on fitness and teaches me new things
3. It also gives me perspective - I stay in contact with lots of different people from all walks of life who have different joys and sorrows.
4. Cathe, of course. She can do no wrong. :7

Darn it, I don't even have a digital photo of my "babies!" I have a dog, a cat and two horses, and I'd love to share... thanks for all the cute pictures!

><Awww, thanks Beavs! You just made my day! >
>Well Carolyn, you have often made mine. I appreciate what you
>bring to the discussions even if occasionally we don't agree
>(that's okay I hope ;-) )

I think I'm learning more and more (especially on these forums)that it's definitely okay to not agree. As long as we're nice to eachother about it. I know I've had my days, but I'm *trying* to be more positive.:)
You're definitely better at it than I am though.;-)

Please honey! I'm a work in progress! ;-)
