Friday Check In

Cathlete
Hi ladies. just a couple seconds to post....I did Cardio Options yesterday & Cardio Coach 2 this AM.

I always feel so excellent & invigorated when I'm ovulating...except last night. :( By the time the kids FINALLY went to sleep I was way to exhausted. Oh well, maybe tonight. :D

Happy Friday ladies! I"ll try to check back this evening...

Better luck tonight, Melanie!;)

Busy AM here - Got Gina off to school. Now we get Isabel off for her first day. Be back after lunch...........

Hi ladies.
Melanie--Sorry the mood fizzled last night. Hope tonight is more "fruitful." :)

Kate--How did Gina do today? Hope Isabel enjoys her first day!!

Hi to everyone else!!!
----------------
Well, Henry seems to be all better. No fever yesterday or during the night or this morning. However, he woke up at 1 a.m., 3 a.m., 4:45 a.m. and 6 a.m. calling me. DH went twice to check on him. After the 3 a.m. wake, I couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm really tired today. I have a doc's appointment at 11:10, so I'm trying to get some last-minute things done around here just in case she decides to check me in (not likely at all, but I like to be prepared). I'm going to change my linens, clean the bathrooms, etc. Hope everyone has a good day!! I'll let you know how the doc's visit goes.

Melanie - I hope your next one goes better.

Kate - I hope she enjoys her first day ;)

Stephanie - I'm sorry Henry was sick. I hope hes all better. Good luck at your appt.

Myself I'm just trying to keep up with things. I honestly don't remember the first trimester being so tiring!? I feel tired alot and even feel like taking a nap some days and I NEVER feel like that. By the time the kids go down I'm ready to go down and usually I want to stay up and read etc. Its also been hard to workout. I feel like I'm having to push myself harder cause I don't feel the energy I want to put into it. I did a workout last night but stopped here and there then would space out then I had to kick myself back into it. ugh. I hope my energy comes back soon. sigh.

Happy Friday everyone!!
I hope you are all having a splendid day
As usual, since i dont work on Fridays, I caugt up on sleep. I got up around 10 and then at 1030 i decided to get my workouts over and done with

I did Cathe's Rhythmic Step Challenge and GS Bi/Shoulders/Back. So i feel good. Starving, but good.

DH is going to court at 3pm then starts work at 6pm so as usual i wont be seeing much of him.

I've decided against the PB bedding, its just too much money. We also checked out burlington yesterday and whiel Snug as a Bug bedding is adorable, my husband likes the noah's ark set better. I came home and pulled it out of the packaging, and it is quite nice.

The only thing is, its been discontinued for 18 months, which is why i got it cheap. However I cannot find the cute lamp, the wall hangings, the wallpaper border or the mobile. just the six peice bedding. which is fine. i already bought a lamp and mobile, i just like the matching sets. i've looked everywhere online and also on ebay. ebay has teh wallhangings and wallpaper but way too high in price!

Calvillo, i was tired off and on - i am now 17 weeks. I worked out when I felt good. Other days I was just too tired from work etc. You will have energetic days and worn out days, its normal. Just hang in there. THe important thing is to listen to your body

I cant believe its 130 already, better make lunch for my hubby. he just washed his car, my car and the police car so im sure he is starving!

have a nice day all

Has Maggie been around? I havent seen her post lately. Probably very busy with her little one

Hi ladies. Doc's visit went well. I'm still 1/2 cm dilated. I told her about my contractions, and she said to take it easy. Oops. I cleaned the rest of the house this a.m. before the doctor, changed linens and afterwards went shopping. I'll relax later. I have to take my dog to the groomer this afternoon. I decided I'm too fat to bathe her.

Calvillo--I'm sorry you're so tired. I completely understand, though. This is my third pregnancy, and my first trimester was the worst of all three. I felt like someone literally sucked all of the energy out of me. Second trimester is just around the corner though!!

Jen--Glad you decided on a theme. You are going to have so much fun decorating! Try looking at places like TJ Maxx and Tuesday Morning. Sometimes they have Noah's Ark baby stuff, I think.

Jen - I hope you find all the bedding pieces :) I got some pottery barn with my last son but used and I saved a bundle getting it on ebay. This time I may just find something at Marshalls cause I keep seeing the cutest stuff in whole sets. BUT since I don't know the sex yet I can't buy anything.
Yeah I'm trying to listen to my body with working out. but already as it is I'm working out like 2 -3x a week!(thats the times I'm tired but feeling ok enough to try) I felt I had to push myself some or the whole first trimester I'll just lay around like a slug! ha.

Stephanie - seriously I don't remember feeling this way at all with my first pregnancies. Of course my first I was really sick all the time and not working out at all(before preg either). So I can't compare to that. The second pregnancy I remember working out regular and feeling fine first trimester. so oh well. Atleast I know baby is probably fine if I'm having symptoms. I still have yet to see the dr. Hoping I'll get to hear the heartbeat when I do.
lol on the dog. Hope you can rest the rest of the day.

Stephanie, Glad the drs went well - October is almost here!!!!!!! Did you get some time alone to go?

Calvillo, Not sure of your age, but I think that may have something to do with the tiredness. At least that's what I attribute it to for me. Shoot, it's been 4 years since I've done this - my bod's slowed down!!! LOL - I'm only 28! BUt still, I think it has something to do with it!;)

Jen, Sounds like a nice day. And I am beyond jealous of your WO energy!!!

------
We had a busy, good day. LOts of errands. Tomorrow more errands....oh well. Isabel enjoyed preschool, thank goodness. Hoepfully she enjoys it Monday when she has to be there without me!

I did SuperSets and a LS 1-mile jog. Had to leave out the core work on SS and the lunges. My RL's would be really mad at me if I even attempted them. But I kept up on all the rest so ^5 to that!:D

Yes i am back to my original theme since my husband put his foot down LOL.
The set is discontiued. i went to target and babies r us since there are lots of great sales going on. nothing at target but babies r us has a lot of buy one get one half off. i didnt buy anything but had outfits in my hand and they were sooo adorable. i started feeling all mushy and wanted to buy some
but they confuse me. it says newborns 5-8 lbs and up to 20 inches. i was an 8 pound baby so i didnt know if thatd be a good size or too small if the baby is more than 8 pounds! Its too early to buy outfits anyway. i didnt buy anything..just groceries

calvillo - my husband wants the sex to be a suprise. i wantt o find out! The suspenese is killing me. so hard to plan and buy things. but a suprise is nice too...

stephanie - hope you feel better soon. your due date is coming up, right?

kate - glad your little one enjoyed preschool! Dont be jealous of my WO energy..i have my days where i do nothing at all. (my rest days really are rest days lol). and soon when i get abig belly i wont be able to do workouts like i am now

hope everyone is having a great friday!

my dh is at work, and i really miss him. we never see each other anymore...

HI ladies!

By the time I get a chance to post, it's so late usually, that I just end up lurking, besides, it's hard to nurse and post at the same time. Right now, she's not latched on, just sort of propped up in my lap.

I am incredibly busy during the day with school, cooking, housework, exercise, etc. (Well, not much housework:eek::eek::eek:--my weak area). In the evening things do slow down a bit.....

Gwen is doing well and seems to be growing nicely--I need the fat sucked off my body in a big way, pun intended:(:mad:.

Melanie--I hope the new job is going well. Any updates?

Kate--is your little one adjusting to school in the mornings better? That would be so hard on a mom:(.

Stephanie--sounds like you are nesting. I know you are scheduled for a c-section, so what happens if you go into labor ahead of time? Is that a concern?

Jess--I was 39/40 this time around and I was soooo tired, compared with my first pregnancy at 25/26, where I literally "bounced" tigger-like through the whole thing. Hang in there. (((hugs)))

Jenm--your workouts are amazing! You don't seem to be slowing down a bit. You will enjoy the surprise at birth, if you can hold out that long. I was surprised by my first four.

hi Jen, Hi Lisa, Hi Autumn, Hi Mikki, Hi Candra, Hi Trish, Hi Susan, Hi Morris, Hi Kristan! If I missed anyone, I'm truly sorry--feeling a bit out of the loop.

Maggie:)

Hi Maggie!
We've missed you here :)
glad to hear you and baby are doing well. Im sure you look beautiful, dont worry, the weight will come off just hang in there
its ok if you post here late, we usually check the new postings from the previous nite the next morning if there are new ones up..at least i do anyway
take care!

Kate -actually I did think of that. Its been 5 years for me since my last son. I was only 23! I'm 29 now. ugh. I have thought my bodys going to take a beating this time haha.

Jen - wow I don't know how some couples do it. I couldn't stand the suspense! I want a name picked out and girl or boy stuff all picked out before the baby comes ha. If I don't get to find out it'll drive me nuts.

I had another really lousy workout today. Atleast I did it I guess. but I stopped cold half way through and was only maybe 65% of the energy I usually put into it. blah. I'm ready to hit the hay now. lol see you all tomorrow. ;)

Hey maggie. I"m trying to remember Trish? Her name sounds so familiar. Has she been part of this group? I agree with late night posts,...they can be great if others are around, otherwise they seem to get lost with new thread in AM.

I lurk much more than I post right now. I"m still trying to find myself. DH & I were so excited tonight---and, well, he got too excited....if you know what I mean. I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!! Urgh! I missed the event. I hope that it may give it another whirl soon.

I just LOVE having you internet friends that don't judge us for being normal people. I can be so open here..... It's invigorating!!!!!!!!!!!!
