Freezing Videos

I just started Cathe On Demand today. I tested my system beforehand and it worked fine. I also stream Netflix videos on this laptop with no problem. Today was so frustrating. My video kept freezing so I'd have to stop my workout and mess with the screen then it would finally start up again. I finally gave up 25 minutes in. I have high speed Internet and have no other problems. Is there a solution?

Everything is working fine on our end and we have had no other reported problems. When you have a problem like this you need to to do a speed test at the time of the problem on a site like http://www.speedtest.net/ This will show you if your high speed internet is having issues. You can also click on the HD button (if this problem is with one of our newer videos) and select the Low Quality option if your system has trouble handling the higher quality bandwidths.

Hey, Im also having problems. The live on demand shows work but I cant get Low Impact Series – TurboBarre to work and its so annoying.
I've never had problems like this before and its definitely not my internet.
The video keeps freezing at 1:49 into the intro. Ill try to skip to the warm up but it just does nothing with a black screen :(
 
Update, TurboBarre is now working however, im having the same freezing problem with XTrain 02 – Bi’s and Tri’s.
The video gets to 1:14 and will freeze.

The weird thing is that the XTrain 02 – Bi’s and Tri’s video works up to 2:10 before freezing if I go through the link on the October week four rotation.

When I change chapters, the video usually freezes, then audio changes to new chapter but the video portion usually sticks for a few
seconds then changes, speeding up (like catching up to audio) and then plays on. Don't think it's internet speed because if I don't
change a chapter, then it plays fine.

It sounds like you're using a mobile device to play the video. Our chapter feature is only currently designed for computer use. It will work to some degree on mobile devices, but problems like you mention are expected since your mobile device uses its default player, not ours.

I tested Turbo Barre and it's playing fine for me. It sounds like you just need to clear your browser cache and refresh your browser to fix the problem. It may also help to reboot your computer if you have a hard cache going on.
