Freddy Shoes! :)

I just wanted to thank everyone who posted about Freddy shoes! Several weeks ago, a thread was started to announce a sale. I did a search and read every thread about Freddy shoes and finally felt like I *had* to have them lol I ordered two pairs - black and white and was impressed with how quickly they got to me. The first time I tried them on I wondered what the big deal is but now I understand! These shoes are GREAT! I love the split soles, I love the way they lace up that ensure that you don't lace so tight that your feet fall asleep haha, I love the whole design. I've been stuck on Rykas for years and now I'm moving on!
I'm so GLAD to finally have some shoes that make my feet happy!!!

Karen,

Which model did you get? Also, 1) how do they ensure the "not too tight" lacing? and 2) what is a "split sole?"

TIA

Hi Nadine,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I got the Hi Impact Step Shoe -
its3pro60l. The split sole is hard to describe. It's in three parts so your foot flexes and bends like it would barefoot. As for the laces, instead of pulling them through loops, they wrap around divets. They are also spaced wider apart so they just seem to fit the foot better and feel weightless when you have them on. I don't tend to rave on and on about workout shoes, probably because I've never liked any as much before. I couldn't stop myself this time - I REALLY think these are great!

They're still on clearance and it looks like they have plenty of sizes in stock. I'm half tempted to buy a third pair. I'm guessing they are discontinuing this style and there WILL come a day that I'll need more LOL
Karen :)

Karen....thanks for the link. I have wanted to try these shoes, so I ordered a pair...:)...Carole

RE: Question re: Freddy Shoes

I would like to order a pair of these shoes but I worry about ordering shoes that I can't try on over the internet. Does anyone with high arches wear these shoes? Also, if I wear an 8.5 in my dress shoes they told me to order an 8. I wear 9's in the New Balance 765 running shoes. For those of you who have worn these what size dress shoe do you wear and what size Freddy shoe did you order? Thanks in advance for any help!

RE: Question re: Freddy Shoes

Hi Angela,
I also have a pair of Freddy sneakers and I absolutely LOVE them...I don't know the model number offhand but they are the ones that are great for kickbox, weight training, step. I can dig up the model # when I get home if you want.......I am normally a size 7 in dress shoes so I ordered a 7 in the sneakers and they are a little big, about 1/2 size bigger, not a big deal for me but just so you know they are exactly right, these shoes definitely run bigger.
I hope that helps!!

Sandy:)

RE: Question re: Freddy Shoes

Thank you Sandy! If you get a chance I would love the model #. I was looking at the ones they offered in the link posted in this thread but I could use one pair for the high impact and the type you have for kickbox and weight training. These shoes sound great but I've never odered shoes on line. I like to try them on, but these sound worth a shot! Thanks again!

RE: Question re: Freddy Shoes

Hi Angela,
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you but I finally found the name and model #.........Cardio Step Trainer #ITS 571. The website is www.us-bodyware.com

I have to tell you what I especially love about these shoes is how supported your feet feel as you are performing lateral moves, such as Cathe's speed skaters and sumo wrestlers...of course the rest of me is dying when I do these moves but my feet feel perfectly fine :D

By the way I couldn't make up my mind which color to buy, so I got both}( LOL!! I have the black ones, the white ones are still on backorder. I really feel they are definitely worth it! Let me know if you do purchase them!!

Sandy:)

RE: Question re: Freddy Shoes

RE: One more question : Freddy Shoes

The customer service rep told me to order the Freddie shoes in an 8 if I usuallyh wear an 8.5 in dress shoes. I don't understand thier sizing? Does anyone know what size from their order menu would be he equivalent to a ladies 8? For example the sizes are: blkf 8.5 the blkf 9 or blk m 8.5 or blk m 9 or wht f 8.5 or wht f 9 or m 8.5wht or m 9wht? I don't know how to order the correct size? Any advice? Thanks!

RE: One more question : Freddy Shoes

Angela,
I wear an 8 in street shoes, an 8.5 in other workout shoes that I've bought and ordered an 8 in Freddys. They fit fine but I could have gone down a half size, as they suggested, with no problem. You get a choice - an 8 or a 7.5 LOL

Sandy,
I had to order both colors, too and I'm glad I did! These shoes DO make your feet feel very supported and Happy! I would stock up with even more if I could afford it! :)

RE: One more question : Freddy Shoes

Angela,
If you normally wear an 8.5 in dress shoes, I think you should definitely go for the 8 in the sneakers. I believe the "f" and "m" just refer to female and male sizes. I normally don't buy sneakers online but these are definitely worth taking the risk:)

Karen,
So good to know I'm not the only one:7 LOL! These really are the best workout shoes I've ever purchased! I'm definitely with you on stocking up on more if I could. Those sales are the best time to go for them}(
