Freaking Out here

Hi everyone!!
I am sooooo excited for the July road trip but I am soooo not ready!! I started right after my invoice arrived and I am still going. EXERCISING that is. I have been "on a break" for 6 months and haven't been doing much of any aerobics. Now I feel like I need to start all over at the beginning to get ready for the trip. I did (attempted to do) all of Rythmic Step this am and thought I would collapse. I know I am going way too fast. Any suggestions!!???
Thanks

First, take a deep breath. ;-) Okay. That's better.

Don't kill yourself. There's no need to feel that you have to reach a certain level in time for the RT. Just start back slowly, and work your way up from there. Look at it this way: if you injure yourself, you may not be able to do the RT at all, and wouldn't that be awful???

So for example, do the first two combos of Rhythmic Step and see how that goes. Then increase until you can do the whole thing. If you have any of Cathe's intermediate workouts, go back to doing those for a little while. It shouldn't take too long until you can do more.

You'll have a great time at the Road Trip even if you're not back to where you once were. There are people of all fitness levels who are going, and no one will be judging you.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Another great dvd would be Low Impact Step w/a bonus of total body sculpting. It is gearded for more the beginner I feel. I have thisone & would be more than happy to make a copy for you & pop it in the mail. If you would like this send me a PM w/your address.

Hi Tami,

I actually have that DVD, but thank you.
I guess I just wanted to jump right in rather than go gradually, like I know I should!!!
I am just so excited to be going. I missed it last year by a few numbers and I was devastated! I really didn't think I would get in this year. BUT I DID!!!

My turn to publically apologize now. Sorry for the STUPID comment about making a copy. Was not thinking at all, I'm still so excited I got in. I guess it impairs my judgement.
