Forza 2 by Ilaria

There has been a bit of discussion about Ilaria's Forza workouts here, but I need a little more help. Based on some clips and reviews I read, I think I would prefer to buy Forza 2. I'm wondering if anyone has both and can tell me if there's any reason I'd need to buy the Forza 1 first? Also, anyone have any tips on buying a bokken? Seems prices go from $7.95 to $49.95 and I'm wondering if it's ok to go inexpensive on this one. Thanks much!

I have both Forza 1 and Forza 2. Forza 2 is definitely a better investment than the first Forza. Forza two is more fun and better structured than Forza one. I purchased an inexpensive bokken from Amazon and it is just fine. I only do a Forza workout every few months therefore the inexpensive bokken is just fine for that.

Thanks for responding to this questions Regina, I want to get the Forza workout as well and was going to get both of them. I'll definitely go with the 2nd set then and only spend the $30 on it.

Anna, I bought a bokken from our state fair for $6.50, haven't used it yet but will see how long it last.

I have both and prefer Forza 2 as Regina described. I have to use a Jr. Bokken that is 2 feet long because the standard size dings my ceiling. Still makes me sore even with the smaller one. I don't know what you have, but the hardwood ones are heavier and make for a better workout.

Your post had me wondering what a "bokken" was. I just checked it out on Amazon--very cool. But I could never get one of these--I have a hard enough time getting my boys to leave my exercise equipment alone as it is!

Okay . . . on second thought, do you think my 15-year-old son would do this workout? He loves doing sword moves, and I'm trying to find some form of exercise that he likes.
