For those that have added running to their cardio

how many days per week (and distance) were you running before you saw slimming in the lower body?

Just added running about a week ago, so I am not much help to ya. I can let you know in about a month though. I can tell you that I feel like I have achieved something after running, but then I get that feeling after any Imax, Step blast, or Cathe kickbox. Running is just something new to me right now and I like it because I can get by myself and think. It is just my time to myself with my thoughts and no distractions. Have you started running yet? Maybe we can compare notes in a month.:) I currently run about 2 miles in about 20 min. I plan to up that to 30 min. and I will have to see what the distance is on that. I hope to be at about 3 miles. Good luck to you.

I run 4 days (total mileage 40-50K a week) but I've never seen any slimming of the lower body unless I pay attention to my food.

Lower Body training does help tighten things up and lifting my butt.
 
I havent seen any slimming in the lower body with running either. I have been running for almost two years. I dont run as many miles as dutchie . I usually run anywhere between 15-22miles a week . I plan on increasing my mileage this training season. I wish it would slim down the lower body,that is where I need it.
 
i believe before xmas i was doing 3 day a week 6miles a day. also at that time i was watching what i ate. i wanted to fuel my body correctly while still getting the right amount of calories(and being good so that i can cheat at holiday dinners :) , so my eating habits played a major role in that as well.
