? for those of you doing p90x

Hello,

I just ordered p90x at a 20% discount (the link is in the videofitness forums at the beginning under a recent p90x thread). A question for those already doing P90x. I already have a tower for pullup and pushups, I already have one green tube and a couple of dynabands (red and green I think). I also have weights of pretty much every shape and size etccc. I also have a yoga mat. Is there anything else I need? Someone mentioned that for the plyo workout I would need a thick pad, which I don't have. What are other people using for this and where do you get them.

Thanks in advance. I am soooooo excited about p90x and cannot WAIT to start it. Pullups here I come. yeah!!!!

Thanks,
Kristie Schultz

I am jealous you got such a good discount...:)...sounds like you have everything. Since I always exercise on carpet I don't use a mat, but the plyo is VERY intense and if you are on the floor a thick mat would be better...:)...be prepared...you'll love P90X!!!....Carole

You sound very well-equiped!
I have been doing the plyo on some puzzle square mats I got at Home Depot, with the Manduka mat (that fancy yoga mat Beachbody is selling) over the top. It makes things really cushy and I can put more "ooomph" into my jumps. The puzzle mats are about $20 for a set of four (about 2 feet square each), but you can sometimes get them on sale.

I have carpet over a cement floor in my basement. I'm fine doing the Plyo with just that. The only thing I bought extra was a Yoga block.
Which helps me get a better stretch on those hamstrings stretches (where you are sitting on the ground and reaching for your toes). There are also a few Yoga postions that they are great for, although they are not nessesary. I only bought one.
