I had some of her early kickboxing workouts. They were more choreographed than her more recent ones (if you have Cathe's Kick Max, the pivoty moves in the first section of that reminded me somewhat of Janis' earlier style). On of her first workouts had a section like that (which I didn't like---I want straight kickboxing, not complicated, space-hogging cardio in my kickboxing), followed by a drills section. I always hoped it would go to DVD, because I could skip right to the drill section, which I liked.
Also, in her earlier workouts, she says "awesome" as nauseum, if that kind of thing bothers you.
"Strike Zone" is kind of where she started doing more of the straight kickboxing, less pivoty turning stuff (and fewer "awesomes").
About the sexy poses: yeah, those are a bit much. "Hey, have you seen my boobs? Great, aren't they?" "Hey, look at my @$$! Isn't it firm and perky?" (The latter being someone a propos to her "Brand new butt" workouts, but way out of line for others).
