foot pain

This is a new one for me and it is not PF. I was out simply walking the dog yesterday and got some pain on the top of my foot extending toward the inside and a little bit on the bottom. It's toward the front of the foot. Anyone have any insight? It seems strange that I had no trauma to it, I was just walking, (with my running shoes, so that shouldn't be an issue).

if it persists, check in with a reputable podiatrist...could be just a strain, but a morton's neuroma or even stress fracture can occur and rear its ugly little head at any time.I've had a couple foot surgeries and foot pain can cause so many other problems in an active person!
your feet are so important, if it doesn't go away...be sure to have it checked out!
