If you've ever wanted to know more about Walt Disney, the man, and are into a good back, I must strongly recommend "Walt Disney..The Triumph of the American Imagination" by Neal Gabler...one of the most insighful books I've ever read on any subject.

One thing that jumped out at me was how close WDW came to being built in Seacaucus, NJ...by the Meadowlands region...knowing that area and knowing it's primarily swampland, I am so glad he chose Florida...good weather year-round.

You'll enjoy it..I know I did, it answered some questions I had for years about Walt, along with some revelations that don't exactly portray him in the best light. It was an honest book, which is what I enjoyed most about it.

Ha! I just finished this book a week or so ago, and agree with everything Jerry has said. It was a very interesting book, and I don't think I'll look at "Uncle Walt" quite the same ever again. I also know WAY more now about "Snow White" than I ever thought I would! :p
