foam roller help......

Does anyone know where to get the best price on a foam roller, and what kind is best ?? Bigger, smaller, brand, etc?

I have a deep glute /hip muscle pain that keeps coming back and I do stretch a lot when it's acting up but I'm hoping a foam roller would help. I just don't know a thing about them !

Any advice is appreciated !

I got mine at Target - I believe it was in the $20 range. Can't recall the brand, it was in an orangish yellow box, and came with and instructional DVD. It is about 17 inches long and about 6 inch diameter. Hurt like heck the 1st few times but made everything so much better.

I'm so sorry, I lost this thread and somehow forgot about it for a while. I did take your advice and went to Target and bought a foam roller.
I've done some of the stretches from the dvd and it's crazy how it gets in there !
The back stretch had me popping and clicking , but it felt great .
