I followed your advice today and I got 20's up overhead for presses. My goal was to do 6. I did 10/10/8! I couldn't believe it, but I am happy to say that it felt GOOD! Thanks for your advice and encouragement!

See, it's amazing what your body will do when you push it. I know it's crazy thinking about lifting so much over your head, but your shoulders can handle it! Great job!!!
 
Way to go.....You even exceeded your goal!

Sometimes I think I mentally psyche myself out...thinking I can't lift a certain weight so I never try. When Cathe used 30's for chest in 4DS, I thought no way but tried them. I surprised myself and was able to lift them for all the reps.

Thanks ladies! I psyche myself out sometimes too (as with the shoulders), but you really don't know what you can do until you try. Which makes me think....can I do 25's for bicep curls????? ;-)
 
It can't hurt to try. I've been using mainly 25 & 20#'s for biceps for P90X and am amazed at my strength gains! Last time I did PUB I maxed the 8 reps at 25# and felt like I could do more!
