There's a contest for the next fitness dvd star going on at www.fitnessdvdstar.com. The person that gets the most votes wins a 2 dvd contract.

Vote for your favorite every day until February 15th.

Seems kind of unfair that Sharon Mann is in the group: she's already made DVDs.

And the two clips I've previewed don't have them talking (I'd hate to have a DVD instructor with a horrible voice!).

Sharon Mann reminds me Denise Austin for some reason, Kathryn. And totally agree why is Sharon in the lineup!?

I guess she abides by the rules that state that contestants can't have a current DVD contract (but it still does seem unfair). There are several others that already have DVDs out as well (and their clips are from Collage Video!).
IMO, quite a few of these demo clips don't show what the person would be like as an instructor, but rather show off what they can do. They don't even give us an idea of what their voice would be like. I don't care what they can DO (crawling down a flight of stairs outside? Yikes!), I care about how well they teach and what they know.
