Fit TV ?

I was thinking about upgrading our cable to get Fit TV for the soul purpose of being able to see Cathe's show. I watch very little TV and really don't want to encourage my family to watch more. The other things that come in the package I have to purchase to get Fit may encourage this. I am also having a moral dilema with the way my cable company is forcing me to spend more money to get decent programming. It is such a scam. I've been going back and forth on this decision for about a year. I feel myself caving. It isn't that we can't afford it, I just hate to throw money away. This network would have to be really good for me to bite the bullet and sign up. We have only basic cable because our internet service comes through it and you had to have one to get the other. Yep, It's a scam!!!!!! I feel myself getting angry just thinking about it.

I completely understand where you are coming from. We don't have cable/satelite because I just don't want my children to spend a lot of time in front of the tv. But, I have hankerings now and again for seeing some of the valuable things on tv. At this point I am going to continue not having tv, maybe when my kids are older I'll get it for me. Although, I don't want to waste lots of time in front of the tv either. Right now I rent from netflix and there is lots of great stuff out there. I really miss 60 minutes and good news related stuff. I listen to the radio to get that stuff now. Maybe eventually it will all be through the internet and you can only pay for what you actually want to use instead of so much extra garbage.

We had rabbit ears on our tv for years before we got cable. Now we have cable and fit tv. I say, don't get the upgrade just for the fit tv. Most of the shows are repeats. Save your money to buy the dvds. Melissa
