Fit TV/ Namaste Yoga

Hello all,
One of my Pilates students told me about this show on Fit TV. I checked it out yesterday and I really liked it (which is saying a lot since I don't really love Yoga). My question...has anyone else tried it? And, is it just a show or do you think it can be ordered on DVD's?
Thanks!!

Carolyn

Ok, I just ordered 3 DVD's for about $60 including shipping. Not a bad deal I thought for such high quality workouts! Thanks for the info Gayle!

Hi Carolyn - what did you like about it? I've never been a huge yoga fan myself, but did incorporate it into my w/o's via P90X. I really saw the benefit of it, so I'm interested in why these were appealing to you. Thanks.

Hi Lorrie,

Not being a yoga fan, I wasn't sure how I would feel about it but my student was raving about it so I TIVO'd it and checked it out. I liked the cueing and I found the woman's voice to be very calming. I also liked the way the scenery kept changing around the participants so you get to see a lot of different places. The music was nice and didn't interfere at all. Mostly, I liked the way each pose flowed into the next. Something about it held my attention unlike other yoga videos which seem too cheesy or painfully "new age-y".

Thanks Carolyn. I have Bryan Kest and I do find his voice very soothing - perfect for yoga. But I've been thinking of another yoga w/o or two. I like Tony's (P90X) - but it's an hour and a half. I know I don't have to do the whole thing but I feel incomplete if I don't. Guess I may just have to look into these. Thanks for bringing this up.
