Hi all,
Ms. Alexis is now walking all over the place and talking more and more, her favorites ae 'buba'-bottle and ruff when she sees a dog.
we sayed at my sis in law's house over the weekend and she loved playing with her cousin Kayla who is a year older than her. She awoke sat. morning saying 'lala" which is what we call her cousin.
Robeez are letter soft shoes sold at many children's clothing stores , i have also seen pairs sold on ebay. they are great for indoors but are not great outside. emy, hope you are having better luck with max whering sneakers.

I think Max likes wearing shoes now. It was just a matter of time and persistence. He smiles now when we put them on and he walks in them. Maybe he feels more grown up.

Max still doesn't say anything. Well, other than crying ma ma when he is upset. He babbles incoherent noises, but we are still waiting for his first word!

I am, however, having the worst time changing diapers. Max will squirm and roll over and try to get away. He is very strong and it is hard to force him to lay there unless there are two people to change him. Right now he is playing while in a dirty diaper because he will not let me change it. It is harder earlier in the day. At night, sometimes, he is not so resistant.

I'm drawing a blank on some of my workouts last week.

Sat- Rock Steady Step

I'm now offically tired of winter and I want spring to come. I planted 200 bulbs in October and a few are just barely peeking throught. Can't wait to see them all bloom. Even though I'm pregnant, I also can't wait for spring to come so I can finish planting in my yard. Last year was my first year ever being a home gardener and it was a fun adventure.

Emy, Alexis now hates getting changed and I often change her while she is standing. She too hates sitting still to be changed.
i too hate winter. Today was about 5 degress. YUCK!

Noah didn't like diaper changes either (I don't think our others liked to lay still either - come to think of it). What I do that seems to help is count the snaps out loud. Sounds silly, but after a few times, they lay still to listen to this ritual. I stick the diaper on quick and begin to count the snaps on the onesie, then the ones on the legs. For some reason they think this is a game and are a little less squirmy because they want to listen for the number and the snapping sound that follows it. AND the really great benefit is that they begin to count along with me when they are really little. Noah already makes the one, two ,three sounds. Hannah (who is still in diapers at 2 1/2 can count up to twelve and into the teens (though she skips a few) and will count everything from going up the stairs - each step - to hopping etc. It takes a few times, but they catch on to the game pretty quick.

I have to get my book for workouts, I'll check back later. I'm officially TIRED of winter too!! Wish I would have planted some bulbs. I was driving home from Tae Kwon Do tonight in a drifty type of snow and could hardly see out of the windshield and no lines on the road AND it was about 10 below......summer can't come soon enough!!
