Fit Mom's Check-in Week of Nov 21st

Cathlete
Hi ladies. I didn't post last week. I didn't do too well with the relatives coming & preparing for Thanksgiving dinner. I will try to do better this week.
Justin is running now. He's doing well. Just two teeth still. He's not nursing as often now. I'm thinking he'll be weaned down to just bedtime & early morning feedings in a matter of a couple of weeks. I do pride myself with the fact we haven't had to give him any formula. It's been a couple of hard times, but I think we'll make it to the one-year mark. I have at least 50 bags of frozen milk in freezer. Next time I won't be as anal, as most of this will end up being tossed.
Wednesday we meet w/Justin's new-to-be caregiver. She's a mid 60's year old Grandma from our church. She'll watch Justin just one day/week. I think this will work wonderfully. She'll begin first week in December if everything works out. This will be a difficult transition as Justin is having separation anxiety, and he doesn't know this lady...

Hi all,
Melanie, glad to see you back. Great holiday picture. I need to work on enlarging it though to really see Justin's adorable face. You'll see we thought alike on workouts this week. How is tae bo live vol.7 ? I own up to vol. 4.
Emy, great work on outdoing hubby exercising even pregnant. did you see my post about cheap maternity clothes at old navy?
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

We returned yesterday from long Island, NY. It was great seeing my family. My sister came in as well from Illinois. Her kids ages 5 and 9 loved their cousin Alexis. They hadn't seen her since last January. The kids were too funny, they watched me exercise, even skipping watching the macy's parade to watch me. i offered to have them exercise. My family of course thought I was nuts spending my mornings exercising as noone in my family exercises except my dad who takes a morning walk.

Workouts:
Sunday-imax extreme
Monday-HSA +aeropump (got this dvd cheap and did feel well worked out)
Tues-Extreme Intervals plus floorwork from strength express
Wed-off-Travel day
Thurs-tae bo live vol. 3adv. + about 10 minutes of vol. 4-got kicked out of the living room so my dad could watch the end of the parade on the big tv. moved upstairs and turned on fit tv. Caught the end of muscle endurance did triceps and biceps and abs(unfortunately though only had a pair of 5 pound weights)
Friday-tae bo-vol. vol. 4 plus floorwork from vol. 1 -tae bo live adv. Also added some shoulder and chest work.
Sat-travel day

I don't have your e-mail address, or I'd add you to the list. ;) I send pictures out once a month or so.
Ashton should be feeling better with his teeth popping through, no? Justin has just the two bottom still. He's been fussy though & has some diarrhea & loss of appetite. Perhaps he's getting some more teeth too?
Great workout week. Where do you live that your able to run this time of year? Not in Minnesota I imagine. ;)

Hey Mel,No-we dont live in Minnesota..;-) WE live in Florida. The coldest it has gotten here this year is around low 50s.Ya-Ashton has been feeling better the last few days-what a relief!!My address is [email protected]. Jory looks just like you! Justin is adorable too!:)

Hi Elyse. I'm exhausted just looking at your workout week. Way to go! I purchased Tae Bo Advanced Live 1-14 on Ebay for a great price. I like vol 1,3,4 the best. There's a couple I've given away. I'm not a fan of floorwork :( so tapes that focused on those were gone quick!
I'm glad you guys liked family picture. Justin's getting so big!

Unfortunately he has a bug right now. He's had diarrhea for 3 days & has been clingy. Yesterday he spiked a fever of 102 F. Early this morning he vomited. :( I sat on the floor of my baby's room, just holding him & crying. What an awful feeling seeing your little guy vomit. Jory came running to the room (at 6AM) to see what was the matter. He started crying for Justin too. He said HE wanted the sickness, it wasn't fair for little Justin to be sick. ;) He's so compasssionate. I took the day off to spend with my little guy. I'm sure he'll be better tomorrow. ;)

Max is quite needy lately. It's almost like he knows I'm pregnant. He wants to be held half of the day. He is better in the evenings, more independent. But, in the morning he just wants his mama to hold him.

Also, so far the count with Christmas ornaments is 4 broken. I moved all the breakable ones up higher, so hopefully this helps. My little guy gets into everything! We have to remember to close the toilet lid always too, or he plays in the bowl water - gross!

Funny tidbit: Today I checked on Max while he was napping and all I see in his crib is two little feet sticking out from under his blanket! I wish I had gotten a picture. He somehow pulled his blanket over his head. It was a crocheted blanket, so there were some "holes" to breathe through. But it was the funniest sight!

Mon- CTX Upper Body Split
Tue- Rock Steady Step
Wed- Step This Way
Thu- MIC
Fri- Plyometrics
Sat- KP&C + X Stretch

Thanksgiving week was a really great workout week for me. I didn't feel pregnant while I was doing my cardio. This week is getting harder. I'm really starting to feel the nausea. I did HST today and felt gross and rotten the whole time. I am losing my desire to lift weights. I almost just want to give it up for now. But, I will try to work some in when I feel like it.

Thanks, shopaholic, for the tip on Old Navy. I will check it out.
