Cathlete
I hope you don't mind me starting off (in my condition and all)!!

I'm still facing extreme fatigue. At this point my aim is at least every other day workouts & naps on the other days. My boss was out on vacation last week so I worked extra hours. I'm welcoming him back tomorrow!!!

Here's my week
Sun: Tae Bo Extreme
Mon: off
Tue: Step Blast + Core Max 2
Wed: off
Thurs: Lo Max
Fri: off
Sat: C & W + Core Max 3

Autumn, thanks so much for sharing your information on the passing of your Mom. You are amongst friends here. Not only are you in my prayers, but I know you are in the prayers of other mom's here too. Please use us as a support for you during this hard time. :) <<hugs>>

Emy, got your picture. You are absolutely beautful, you're glowing. What a beautiful prego woman you are. You're showing all in front, no where else (hopefully I'll be as lucky). And Max, he's thinned out so much. He looks like such a big boy. How old is he now?

Shopaholic, Briee. Hi there!!!! Maggie, any news?!?!?!

Wow, you are on top of it!
I haven't had time to plan out my week yet. I have been super busy. DD had a sleepover on Thursday (snow make-up day Friday), which was fun but got messy. Mariah is a little tornado unto herself anyways. Plus, DH had to work on Sat. AAAAGGHH! No breaks for mom this week. We went on a date last night, which was really nice! It has been almost 2 moonths since our last date! We didn't get to sleep, until really late. Got up at 6, went to church, went grociery and decor shopping - MAN! I am running on fumes today, so needless to say I am not working out! I will post later so y'all can hold me accountable!

Autumn, I am so sorry. Please know that I am praying for and thinking of you. I wish there was something we could do to help.

Everyone, god bless and work hard,

Missy

I'll post my workout tomorrow but just read your post Autumn. i am so sorry for your loss, you really have had a rough few years. Please continue to use us for support.

Now to remember my workouts:
I did a bodybar/mindy mylrea week.

Sunday-bodybar below the belt + mindy's jump and jab
Mon-bodybar bootcamp + about 3/4 of bodybar energy action(with mindy)
Tues-extreme intervals
Wed-new bodybar workout
Thurs-Interval express+some abs from strength express
Friday-tae bo live vol. 2
Sat-mindy's action packed(hi/lo) +abs from karen v. great weighted workout

I broke my rotation on friday since we were away from home. We went to my parents in ny from thurs-sunday. It is a 5 hour drive. Alexis did well on the trip.

My weight continues to flexuate by about 2 pounds. i'd like to lose another 3 pounds but I think my body has plateud(where is my spell check?)

Melanie, great workout week despite your fatigue.
Emy, what a great picture, you look thin to me, did you really gain 40 pounds with Max? Your weight gain seems minimal with this pregnancy with all your workouts and chasing after Max.

Thanks for the compliments. Melanie, Max is 20 months now. Two years is creeping up. I can't believe my little guy is so big. And yes, when I look back at photos of him from last year, I realize he really has thinned out, he was so chunky back then.

Well, I have gained 29 pounds so far. But, I started 5 pounds over my weight pre-Max. So that would mean I'm up 34 pounds. So, my goal is to not gain more than 8 more pounds, which would put me exactly where I topped off at last time. I just hope I don't get swollen like a balloon as I did that HOT HOT summer pregnant with Max.

I am really feeling good now. Melanie, if you can just make it through that first trimester. From my experience, the first 16 weeks are the hardest. But, every body is different.

Mon- Energy Sprint (55 min)
Tue- none
Wed- Muscle Max
Thu- Low Max (50 min)
Fri- Energy Sprint (55 min)
Sat- High Step Challenge

Thinking of you, Autumn! Hope you and your family are well.

Emy--I got the picture and you are beautiful and glowing, although a little different from your avatar, you being blond and all:).

You are doing great in the weight gain department. I gained 65, 65, 65, 80, and 45, so to gain less than that would make me one happy woman.

I finally found my workout log for that last 10 days or so.

April 25--Rythmic Step, SB blast
26--MM
27--IMAX 3
28--rest
29--GS CT, 30 min stationary bike
30--Low Max, 20 min stationary bike
May 1--rest
2--HCX 3 (skipped leg cond drills, added lowmax blast only premix)
3--GS BSB
4--IMAX 3 1-5, BC legs/cardio premix, ME squats, lunges, deadlifts

planned for the rest of the week
5--GS CT+core
6--Low Max
7--GS BSB+core

I am totally bloated and my period did not come today. Hmmm
Maggie:p

Hi ladies:

My mother's day present. A positive pregnancy test.:7 I am very happy, but almost immediately the doubts and worries set in. I'll be due January 8 (I'm at 5 weeks today).

I can't believe it, but I am showing alreadyx( --to myself that is. Everyone else will just think I'm gaining weight for a while.

I am determined to not let my weight spiral out of control. My goal is to gain 40 lbs or less....Less, hopefully. I've already gained 3 lbs, but I think it's bloat more than anything else, because I've eaten well this week and exercised. But boy am I tired.

I hope you all had a nice mother's day too!
Maggie:p

Thanks everyone.

I am feeling very weak while working out:-(, but otherwise I feel pretty good. With 5 kids already, its not like I have a ton of time to worry and fret :p

Maggie

Congratulations, Maggie! I was mostly just teasing you when I seconded your hmmm, but I can't believe it is true.

I only had one period after Max before this pregnancy. That is one thing I don't miss is my period, but I guess being pregnant is much harder (in my opinion at least).

Melanie, yes Max and No. 2 will be approx. 22 months apart. That's actually how I am spaced from my older brother. My husband and I still muse over how Max will react to his baby sister...

Well, I wish I could go to the Cathe weekend just announced, but that is 5 days after my due date. Oh well, maybe some day.

Ahhh Melanie! Hopefully one day! :)

Maggie, hope you feel strong soon!

Emy, I can't attend because my DS first birthday is the 14th and DD BD is the 31st. I hope the dates change if there are future Cathe Camps.

Autumn

Oh Maggie....I'm sooo excited for you!!! BIG HUGS AND CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I have to admit....I'm still in the mental state of saying "I LOVE my period...I'm so excited to get it each month because I HATE BEING PREGNANT." Sorry....this is more of a confession Maggie. You know we feel the same in the area of family planning. I think having the last two close together was tough for me and I'm welcoming a break here and having a blast working out. I remember when I was first pregnant with Noah and felt VERY tired during workouts. Keep it up and only do what you can and DON'T SWEAT THE REST. I really am excited for you!!!!! All you guys are going to be pregnant and I'll be here all alone (as inconsistant as it has been lately)!! Please don't leave!!

I have to get my book to post workouts. I've been doubling up on some days and having a few more rest days thrown in due to this crazy homebuilding project. My lower body needs some work, but each time I pass the pullup bar I do a few pullups all day long and this has kept my upper body in some kind of order. :) :) :) .

Boy...all you pregos...I'm feeling just a tad left out...but not so much as to run to my dh and do something drastic. Actually we did something drastic this morning, but it was within the "correct time frame" for not conceiving. (I can't believe I said that :p :p :p ) We have to get through this building project before I get sick and pregnant again, of course God knows this too.

Briee

Hi Briee--I did not have baby fever until about mid april and that (unknown to me at the time) was my fertile period. Then it hit unexpectedly and hard. Also, about the time my period was due this month, my husband very tenderly held my 3 month old nephew (even though he was poopy) so his mama could finish eating--a wave of baby fever hit me that day also, and then the period did not come....so I guess the Lord prepared me in His way.

We will have to get a bigger car--a homeschool van. Our 7 passenger minivan is maxed out...Also, neither of the little boys is potty trained, so I'll need to work on that hard this summer.

My workouts
Mon-HCX #1
Tues-Low Max
Wed-GS BSB/CT timesavers
Thurs-30 min stationary bike
Fri-BC/ME bonus premix
Sat-Step Blast

I feel queasy and tired. I am really trying to eat well this time, so as to not gain a collosal amount of weight. I am eating small meals fairly frequently. My weight is fluctuating wildly from day to day, showing a 2 to 5 lb gain. grrrrr....It's frusterating, because I am really trying this time.

I want to go on the Cathe weekend also, but even if we could afford it, I don't think I could talk hubby into letting me leave for a whole weekend plus travel time across the country.

Briee, i must admit, I've stop my frequent posting because of feeling left out, being unpregnant. Although I am happy I can wear my bikini this summer.

Oh Shopaholic---Please don't feel left out. We would miss you if you stopped posting here. Believe me, there will be no bikini wearing around here. I'm already showing, but not in the cute way. I look like I am growing a small butt on the front of me, for lack of a better description and I'm only 6 weeks!!!

How is Alexis doing? I think the bench mark is 20 words at 20 months and Bardric has not met it. He is not a very verbal child. I did, however discover him standing on the piano, holding a butter knife.(a bad mommy moment) He also likes to swing by one arm by the thing on the nordic track that your stomach is supported by. He weighs about 25 lbs now, so is gaining weight very slowly, but he's almost the same size as Malcolm and they share most clothes, which does make things easier on me.

Don't stop posting. Please?

Maggie

One more thing Shopaholic....I miss your faithfully starting the weekly posts (not that I don't like Melanie starting them or anyone else for that matter)...it's just that Shopaholic has been so diligent over the years....(wow it's been years guys!!!!). Please keep posting Shopaholic. I can't imagine breaking up this group.

I like the diversity of our group as well. Prego's or not, Christian or Jew, large or small (you happen to be the smallest Shop), black or white, suburban or rural, for richer or for poorer till death due us part.....we stick together...please keep posting.

Besides....we are all fit moms prego or not!! I love to hear about little Alexis and life out east. It is so vastly different from our little spot in the country.

Here's an interesting tidbit Elyse....we are surrounded by old order Amish in my part of Wisconsin, the other religious groups would consist of the usual Lutheran, Methodist, Protestant and Catholic. The other day we were talking to our "cement guy" doing our driveway and retaining wall and he told me that a Jewish Community from Chicago just bought the old Brush Creek campground, a mile from my home. A VERY ultra conservative Orthodox Jewish settlement is being built. They are initially planning 28 condo's (imagine condo's here in the middle of nowhere). With the temple in the center (so they can walk of course on the sabbaoth a short distance). I think it is INCREDIBLY COOL. Just hearing of the kitchens is soooo very interesting. Each counter is made for a specific purpose and that purpose alone. You know I've been interested in the Jewish Ceremonies etc.....I love this part of the old testament. So much meaning in it all. My husband and I come from the suburbs of Chicago and didn't live too far from Highland Park (this is where they came from).....I have visions of opening a high class coffee house in the middle of nowhere for this Jewish Community as they pass right by our home to go almost anywhere, just so we could sit and visit (if they would care to). Okay now I'm really rambling.
