Fit for Tday Halloween

Where are all of you today ?? Trick or treating perhaps :)

Janiejoe I was wondering if you remember doing the April 07 rotation and how you liked it. I saw you post saying you were going to do and since no rotation yet was thinking of that one let me know if you noticed any significant changes on that one!

I'm here!

Just having a very busy work day!

Eating: so far, so good. We have a potential new hire here today, so we're going out for Thai food soon, which means...hopefully nothing TOO terrible. I will try to focus on the new person and eat vegetables or something.

Exercising: Short interval run this morning with the dogs, and a kettlebell workout planned for this afternoon!

Happy Halloween, y'all!

Lisa/Afreet

Hi all,

Lisa, I hope you get through your busy work day. I love Thai food.

Eriniski, Sorry I haven't been on the forum lately, I've had some things come up and it turns out I really now have to watch what I eat. I bought the books from Tosca Reno "The Eat-Clean Diet" and the cookbook that goes along with it. I pretty much eat that way anyway, but since the holidays are coming this helps get me going even more. I didn't get a chance to finish the April rotation, life sometimes gets in the way, but what I did do of it, I noticed more stamina, and more endurance for me. It's a great rotation, but then all of Cathe's are.

HAPPY HOLLOWEEN!

JanieJoe -I'm sorry to hear that you have had some things come up but hopefully everything will get better!! Here is a good quote that I hope will help your motivation

Triumphs without difficulties are empty. Indeed, it is difficulties that make the triumph. It is no feat to travel the smooth road.

Hi y'all! (I was in Texas can y'all tell?) LOL!

Never did find my license, but DID manage to catch my flight on time after all! they were holding for a few minutes for connecting flights, so WHEW!!!

as for exercise, no weight room, but does walking around a mall count? didn't manage to work up a sweat and didn't have room in my hotel room to do any workout... plus the walls and floors were real thin! don't think the neighbor under me would have appreciated my even low impact workout! oh well... I weighed myself when I got back and did not gain anything so that was good...

haven't had time to catch up on all that I missed this week, so plan on tonite (while darkening the house and hiding in the back bedroom ~ thus avoiding trick-r-treaters...) to catch up on all that I have missed this week...

dang... you guys are all giving me the KB itch! I just don't know if I could manage to get in the door with yet "another workout item" and not have to totally explain myself! maybe after STS...

so quote of the day:

Only she who attempts the absurd, can achieve the impossible ~ author unknown

hope all y'all have a safe and wonderful Halloween!!

happy holloween ladies!!!!! my diet has been on track and i'm not planning on derailing it tonight either. we don't have kids or any in the neighborhood so i don't have to buy the candy and be tempted. had a good workout this morning: 30 minutes on the elliptical. 5 min warmup at 6.6mph, 7 one minute sprints at 9.8mph (level 7) with 2 minutes of recovery at 6.6mph (level 7), 5 minute cool down. then i did a 15 minute ab workout from butts and guts. while i think the elliptical was a challenging workout, i can honestly say i'm not a huge fan of pushing myself with intervals. i would much rather do 45 minutes of moderate cardio. i'm so confused on doing more or less cardio and more or less weights. i don't want to build anymore muscle and would actually like to lose some of my muscle. i was thinking mabe doing 3 days a week of 45 minute cardio (mon, wed, fri) and on tues and thurs do a full body toning routine like the slim series or the squeeze. i want the feminine but toned look. i've come to the conclusion i just don't like the look of muscles (for me) when i'm in regular clothes. well i have till monday to figure out my workout. we'll see.
