Fit for T-day Monday

Hi ladies, hope you all had a nice weekend. I woke up this morning in a crabby mood. I think its from having to work in the acute care part of the hospital. I just don't like that setting. I've been thinking lately of switching my workouts to later in the day or early evening b/c i'm just burnt out from waking up between 5-6 a.m. to get them in. I feel like the early morning wokrouts make me hungrier throughout the day and i can't push myself as hard as when i've been awake for a while. That being said, i didn't workout yet and plan to do so when i get home around 4 or so. I created an intense circuit training routine for today but i'm not sure if i'm going to do it.
Each exercise group is supersetted and each chunk of 3 exercises (incliding the sprints) are performed 3 times through before moving to the next batch of exercises.

1) pushups
plie' squat
sprint for 1 min on treadmill at 8mph
2) lat pulldowns
deadlifts
sprint for 1 min
3) tricep dips
single leg calf raise
sprint
4) hammer curl
reverse crunch
sprint
5) rear shoulder fly
oblique crunch
sprint

If i do this, i will let you all know how it goes. Hope you all have a nice day.
 
Kariev-good morning. Your workout looks great for later today! Enjoy it. I agree with you....you need to make things work for YOU, so try later workouts and see what happens. Occassionaly, I'll sleep in and do my workout after I get the kids off the bus....and it's okay here and there FOR ME, but then I'm rushed to shower and get to the school by 10am. But it's good to have that back up.

OK...today I started Cathe's November rotation with GS BSB.

I've got a busy second half of the day....after school I get my friend's son off the bus (like normal) but then as soon as he goes home, we have to go back to the school to help with MarketDay sales. Then our PTA meeting tonight and DS has basketball practice DURING that meeting. SO I have to figure out how to get him TO practice. Our meeting tonight will be interesting. There are some moms who are all ticked off at me (and the Officers) because we want to make a small change to 3rd & 4th grade going-away gifts. So they're staging a little protest tonight. I'm not stressing over it......if a Tshirt is the biggest thing these parents have to worry about, then they're ahead of the game, right? LOL

Kariev workout looks good today and you should DEFINITELY do because you will feel GREAT afterwards even doing one of the circuits start off with and then you know you will enjoy finishing it !! Def let me know how it goes b/c i would love to try!!

Gayle-How was the w/o i have that on tap for tomorrow. its always nice to have that comforting outlet!! I can't believe the parents will be that upset about a t-shirt. SOmetimes people just need something to complain about I think.

Busy here at work I have a tape ready for me to transcribe that is two sides eek. It will take awhile but I am not skipping (eating at my desk) my lunch today I plan to take it!!!

Kariev, hope the above quote will help a little. Just take some vitamin B and you should fee; better.:rolleyes: Maybe it's a sign of over doing it. Finding time to workout when you are working/have children is tough, I know. Hopefully you won't have to stay in the Acute Care setting too long. That is one tough looking workout. Whew! I'm very proud of you. Can't wait to here how it goes for you. Just do the best you can and you are good to go.

Gayle, Congratulations on Cathe's Nov. Rotation. It's a doozy, enjoy. Good luck on the PTA meeting tonight. Sounds like a very busy evening.

Eriniski, Busy day for you too? When you bring your lunch will it be full of clean eating goodies? I'm just glad you are not skipping out on any meals. Hope your day goes well for you.

I still have my bathrooms and kitchen floor to clean. Then, the treadmill.

Clean eats at lunch which is never a problem today was miso soup and oatmeal. Trying to drink regular water too and not sparkling (that's a challenge lol) busy day though working and then have to teach tonight. Got Anthony a massage as a Halloween present (excuse since I know he could use one). :) I bet right now you are on your treadmill and have already cleaned :)

Ladies, i must say, my workout kicked my butt!!! it took me only 45 minutes but was so taxing i couldn't imagine it being any longer. I will do the same thing on wednesday and friday but will choose different exercises. I will post those when i write them up. Tomorrow i will probably walk on the treadmill on an incline. i really like doing these intense circuits. this type of workout will definately strip the fat right off my muscles! hope you ladies had a great day! oh, and i decided that i'm going to stick with the early morning workouts and stop talking myself out of them b/c by the end of the day i'm just way to exhausted to even want to look at my sneakers
 
evening ladies: I had to search for this one today as I got a bit of a late start! Workout is done finally tonite! started the November Cathe rotation as I have some of these and can sub the ones I don't have for something comparable! I have never done a rotation, but figured that it would make my life easier to not have to think about what to do next!

Kariev: what a great circuit! You should be very proud of yourself for making it in the first place, but then to actually DO it! Very impressive! Do you do it to music or just count? I have not tried this form of exercise on my own without a DVD to guide me, but did buy an interval timer (have yet to take it out of the envelope it came in though) Might have to try it someday!

Gayle: hope your PTA meeting went smoothly and things worked out in the best of the kids!

Janie: Ok, I've seen cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen floors on your "to do" list for the past 3 days! LOL! You are too funny! I just don't acknowledge it (or heaven forbid say it out loud - or on the forum!) and then you can't be responsible for not completing it, right!? HA! Hope your TM venture was successful! Glad you are still moving with all that is happening and your physical situation right now! I must say you are a very good roll model! Thank you :)

Erinski: good for you on the clean eating and taking a break to nourish your body and mind (even if it was at your desk)! taking a few minutes just to VEG can make such a bid difference! What are you teaching? Sorry if you have already said, but I missed it :eek:
