Firm Video Question

Hi everyone!
Happy Spring!! I love seeing the crocus peeking out of the ground and the robins foraging around the yard. Now if the weather would just read the calendar!!!
Anyway, I am so excited about Cathe's new tapes! But I was wondering about a Firm tape; I do an occasional rotation with them. I heard that Tracy Long's Maximum Body Sculpting (aka Tri-Trainer: All Weights) was good. I know it probably isn't half as intense as Cathe's MIS or PS, but does anyone have it? I really want a Cathe fan opinion, because I know some of you guys use the Firm tapes like me. Thanks in advance for any input. Have a super week!

Hi Faith,

Did you see the thread at Video Fitness re favorite total body workouts? Many people chose Max Body Sculpting. IMO, it's not in the same league as MIS or the PS series. I've been doing it with my sister as a follow-up to the muscle conditioning in the Wedding Tape. Tracy Long is great & it's well designed, but it's an intermediate workout. Firm Cardio & Firm Strength are more challenging.

I have it

You're right. It's not nearly as intense as PS or MIS, but it is a nice,"hit all the major muscle groups without killing yourself" video. It's also only 45 minutes, which is great when you're in a time crunch.

The VF thread that Debra refers to was asking 2 questions: Which is your BEST weights workout ( aka most effective ); MIS was winning hands down. The other question is which is your FAVORITE weights workout; MBS is a solid fave in that category. The time goes quickly ( where in MIS it slows to a crawl in those last couple of sections because you're sooooo tired :) ). You're not likely to make the huge gains with MBS, but if you're doing maintenance or just want a shorter, fun, total body video for when you're not feeling particularly amazonian, or you're just rushed for time, you can't lose with MBS.

It's just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it, right? ;-)
