Finally!!! (my DVD's arrived :))

Well, after over 4 weeks of waiting, my PUB/PLB and GS DVD's arrived! Hooray!! Of course, now I'm in taper for my half-marathon and am easing off of heavy weight training for my lower body, so I'm not sure I'll be able to use these until after my second half-marathon is done (my second one is 4 weeks after my first--yeah, I'm not sure what I was thinking either when I signed up for the second one ;)).

In any case, I'm going to be previewing these and counting down to when I can actually do them :). Any suggestions on which to try first? I've largely been doing moderate weight training for the last few years (FIRM, Tracie Long Training, etc.), and recently found that I really missed Cathe's approach to strength training and ordered these DVD's, so I'm not exactly at the strength level that some of you are at (although I want to get there, hence, the DVD's :)). Which set would be a little more approachable for someone who hasn't done heavy weight training in a while?

Jennifer (who's now itching to buy Muscle Max and Muscle Endurance, too, but has to wait for the next bonus ;))

I would probably do the Pyramids first. I found the Gym Styles very intense when I first got them but I love them. They are my favorite strength series. The 72 pushups in Chest & Triceps is the hardest for me but I can finally do them.

You weren't supposed to tell her about the 72 push-ups!!!!! She was supposed to discover those by herself;)

I have to agree that you should start with the Pyramids and if you haven't been doing heavy weight training, under no circumstances should you attempt to lift the weight Cathe does on the biceps section.:p

I love PUB/PLB!!! I get major DOMS in my butt from PLB (exactly where I want to be working). PUB is great too. Enjoy.

All right, PUB/PLB it is :). I can't wait to do these DVD's!!! I'm sure I'll be majorly sore the first few times I do them, but I am looking forward to really increasing my strength. I feel as though I've been on a plateau for a while and would love to progress in my weight selections. I'm sure these'll be the perfect ways to "shock" my system :).
