I've been doing weight watchers for quite some time and just was not losing much. I switched over to South Beach and did phase I for 1 week before I moved into phase 2. I am finally losing weight...4 lbs in 2weeks...finally. I really only have 15 lbs to lose and those are the hardest. I've been eating one carb a day so I've been eating one slice of ezekial bread either with breakfast or as an open face sandwich for lunch. I'm so happy this is working. Since I was doing weight watchers points for so long I can "judge" my portion sizes by points as well to make sure I am not overdoing it.
For anyone interested this is my typical day or my day today exactly
B: Egg whites with veggies and one ezekial bread with some flax oil instead of butter
S: Lettuce roll up with slice of lunch meat and string cheese in center
L: Veggie filled Salad with some avacado and cooked chicken...herb dressing
S: (if I'm hungry) Fage yogurt with banana extract and whey low sugar
D: Salmon over cooked spinach
BTW: If anyone hates the artifical sweetners out there, whey low is a god send. It tastes like sugar and has 4 calories per teaspoon. I put it in my tea and coffee.
That's it. Just thought I'd share.
