Fertility Blend & Pre-Seed Questions

Has anyone tried these products? I did a search but the last post on Fertility Blend was 2004...

I've been TTC for over a year and according to the docs, everything is fine....and I'm not willing to do anything invasive or clomid, etc.

I've thought about acupuncture also, but it's a little pricey and thought maybe herbal supplements would be a first step. On-line reviews are positive but I lurk here and trust the opinions on this board.

TIA,
Jeanette

Just wanted to offer a (hugs) on the TTC (I've spent many years there).

Have you tried a fertility monitor or sticks? How about basal temping?

If you haven't already, I'd recommend reading "Taking Charge of your Fertility"

Jeanette,
I don't have experience with Fertility Blend but I took FertilAid for awhile, which also has Vitex in it. I also tried acupuncture along with chinese herbs. Honestly I don't know if those things did anything for better or for worse - my cycles didn't become any more regular and my temps are still all over the place. However, they didn't seem to HURT me and I felt like it was worth a try before going on prescription meds. Good luck!

ETA: I forgot to ask if you already had basic blood tests done like thyroid, prolactin, ect.

Yeah, i've had all the blood work, ultrasounds, MRI's this year and nothing is changing. My periods are regular but i think i ovulate late and instead of implanting i start spotting.

I figure i'd give these 2 products a try but wanted some quick feedback before getting out my credit card. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Are you underweight? Also, do you consume a lot of caffeine? I've heard these are two things that can hinder conception. I'm sure you've explored all of the possible causes. I'm sorry that you're having difficulty. I used the ovulation predictor by I think first response when I conceived my first child. I had no idea when I ovulated, so I thought that would give me an idea. It was helpful. ((Hugs)) Hopefully it will happen for you soon -- when you least expect it!

No, my body weight is good after a ~25lb loss before TTC (143, 5'8"). I've tried laying off exercise wondering if that was it but no luck. Cut out caffine, but no luck (back to drinking it though but gonna cut down again soon).

I've also cut out a lot of sweetners, pop, and gluten for stomach related issues. I don't consume too much alchol and I eat fairly clean.

I'm not under a lot of stress and my DH and I don't stress too much about TTC.

I've gone through the checklist and there doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong for getting pregnant. I'm 33 and my DH is 37 so we still have time but would like to speed it along somehow...

Just have TONS of sex! I know, sounds easier than it is! but do you figure out what week you ovulate and just go to town that week??

It sounds like you possibly have a short luteal phase which could result in the spotting instead of the implantation. Have you looked into that?

Although pricey, all the friends who went that route who had a really difficult time conceiving got pg with acupuncture. I've heard preseed worked for some and they swear by it. I've never used either so can't speak out of experience. It took me over a year to get pg with our last pg so hang in there!

I like the TONS of sex idea!!! I know for us, this really was an issue...I would try to save our intimacy for my most fertile time....but it wasn't until we "really got busy" that we conceived our twins... To put things into perspective.....we'd have sex daily (sometimes twice). ;)

FertilityBlend

As a company advocate for FertilityBlend and someone who is familiar with the products, I'd like to mention a few things. First of all, it is always best to consult your doctor before starting any new supplement or drug. Only you and a knowledgeable medical professional can decide what is the best course of action with regards to your fertility. The ingredients in FertilityBlend are formulated in concert at optimum levels of each ingredient. In addition to this, the ingredients are chosen because they work synergistically with each other. The formula has been backed by double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies done by researchers at Stanford University. It is the only over-the-counter fertility supplement scientifically backed by published clinical studies performed specifically on FertilityBlend, unlike competitors who may be citing studies that are on individual ingredients rather than the actual formula.

Thanks and good luck!
