Feeling good!

Hi all,

First - thank you to all who have given me such great encouragement and advice over the past several days/weeks! Today I orderd Body Blast series to compliment my beginning Cathe library of CTX and Timesaver. Hubby was OK with it...either he knew it was pointless to say anything, or he was still happy over his big sale news yesterday!

Today I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and did Push/Pull (from FitTV). I was extremely frustrated to see the scale continue upward this morning...I'm trying hard to attribute it to Aunt Flo (sorry for TMI), and also to the salt yesterday with the soy and wasabi I had with my sushi and edamame. I'm freaking though - cause it's up 4 pounds.

With regards to heart rate and calorie estimates... Are elliptical machines anywhere near close on calorie estimates? I know...I should get myself a HR monitor...

Anyhow - I'm feeling really good about my workout. I had only hoped to get through 1/2 of push pull, but I modified and used lighter weights where needed and I was fine. GREAT feeling!

Stability ball - mine doesn't seem to have enough air in it...either that or I need a bigger one. This sounds stupid, but how can you tell if there's enough air in it. How much should it "give" when you sit on it?

Sorry this has turned into a book - but thank you so much to you wonderful ladies for being so supportive!

There's no way you can gain 4 lbs overnight if that's what you think. If it is TTOM, then by all means, don't negate all your hard work today. You just need a little reassurance. We all do.

also, if you are building muscel, you see the scale do weird stuff. ii agree with Marla. ain't NO way! your'e doing great! and you will have a blast with the BB series. it's fun!
