Feed back/Cathe Nutrition vs Weight Watchers

I have trouble sticking to a "diet". My inner rebel comes out and I eat worse. But, I'm 5lbs up since last summer and I never got back to my good weight of 140lbs 12 years and 10lbs ago. My DS in now going on 12.
Is anyone using Cathe's Nutrition Planner? How's it working for you? I was thinking of joining Weight Watchers (again, I only last 2 weeks and I quit) but I like the cost of Cathe's program much better. Is the program working fully or is it still in Beta? Does it link up to the Workout Manager yet? I'd love to hear what works for you food wise. Even though I work out to Cathe regularly my weight is going up up up! I need a bumper sticker of WWCE? (What Would Cathe Eat).

HI Colleen...

I do know some people are helped by WW, and I had signed up for WW back in September and been on the site exactly 3 times... I should really cancel, but never think about it until I see the monthly charge on my statement! I guess I just don't do well on that program... I hate going to those WW meetings and thought that the online membership would give me some support, but apparently you 'must be present to win!'

Anyway, on 12/1/08 I signed up for one month of Cathe's Nutrition Manager, and I must say that I really like it once you figure out how to use it... I still have lots of things to learn about the program and eating healthy in general, and can't say that I fully utilize all the functions yet, but I really do like the fact that it 'grades' you on how you eat. It's a real eye opener that's for sure. It can give you suggestions on how to make your foods grades better. Calorie range seems fairly accurate and I don't feel hungry staying within that range.

My goal for this coming week is to go into the sample/member menus and see if I can find some good "all A's" menus that I can use and see how that works... I'm a pretty picky eater, but if I can get my eating under control I hope to find better results from all my hard work with Cathe's workouts as well...

in summary, I would recommend it... for $10 for a 30 day membership is a cheap way to try it... if you don't like it you are out only a few pennies a day, and at the very least, you can print out some great planning menus that might help in the long run...

Just my 2 cents :)
