PEOPLE! YAY!!
(But I'm still a bit worried about Beth?! Wonder if it's her spotty internet??)
OMG, the snow. It is very anticlimatic so far. It didn't START snowing until about 1:30p, and it's still snowing (VERY finely) but it's not sticking on the roads , just a dusting on the grass. And they said this was supposed to be "the worst of it". I think they really bombed out with this forecast! The kids REALLY should have had school today, but the storm was so hyped up! Whatever... Greg says I should be happy, because I'll be able to enjoy an extra summer day when they're in school, and I can go running or something!! LOL! He knows me too well!
Hottie: I guess I get pissed off that things aren't going ok for you there with Joe. I just think you deserve the very best , cuz you ARE the very best!!! I totally respect and admire you that you are both trying so hard. I love that! I have to say, my parents used to have some crazy yelling fights and I always was so afraid they'd split up. I'm grateful they didn't. It never got physical, just yelling. I can honestly say Greg and I haven't really had big yelling fights in a few years. It seemed worse when the kids were younger somehow. ... I digress.... At least you got SOME cardio in, and finishing up the last combos of AS is not easy, so good for you! And the walk with Evee is even better! .... My 2 younger boys, 10 and 8, are doing those kiddie valentines for their class. I think they're having snacks on Friday. They picked out some cute ones, 3-D Cats & Dogs. They're cool. My 10 yr old, Alex, wasn't quite sure he was going to do them, and then changed his mind when he saw the dogs and cats. I think this year or maybe next year will be his last.
.... For all of them I'm going to get them a big heart of chocolates. They loved that last year. ... I'm sort of doubting I'll get my big box of Godivas due to the price of them and our "budget". I guess as long as I get chocolate, even if it's just a bag of hershey kisses! LOL!
Joanne: I swear HiiTs are making other cardios seem easier. I remember reaching puke status with Plyo Legs in the past, and last week it wasn't THAT hard to me. You live in a high snow area, so I can see why they wouldn't close school alot. This is actually one of the biggest snow storms we got so far...so they all panicked about it! .... Ah. Zach and girls. He hates me asking. If I ask him if HE likes any girls, he says, "Oh mom, cut it out". But I asked him the other day if any girls liked HIM, and he said "Ya, a few". I know he IMs them on the computer and on his phone. But no dating yet. I swear, my boys are very immature. Which is fine with me! ... Jake was so cute in class the other day when i went to help out. Our little reading group was talking about why all the boys didn't like girls. "They're bossy", "They talk too much". But Jake was like, "I have friends that are girls, I like them". Good for him!!! Alex actually has a good friend that's a girl too. ...And then I think about Zach starting HIGH SCHOOL next year! holy crap. I know things are going to change and they're goign to change fast! ... I am thankful I don't have girls in that respect. Way too mature WAY too quickly these days!
Better go figure out supper. I think I'm going to do Shepherds Pie, but mine I' going to make with cauliflower mashed potatoes! I'll make the boys the regular way...
