My husband just purchased a new iPhone and I'm already looking for apps for him. Please share your favorite iPhone app!
Thanks,
Paula

RunKeeperFree (GPS tracker for running, walking, cycling, etc. it give you your speed, route, elevation, it's awesome!)
Tap&Track (calorie counter)
Those are my two favorite fitness apps

For fun I have Peggle and Shanghai Lite (mahjongg)

I second Tap & Track...def the best calorie counter/fitness tracker out there.

As far as non-fitness related..i loooove my Checkbook app...i never have to worry about carrying around a checkbook register anymore. Also IMDB app, if you are always wondering where you saw that actor/actress last. Mall maps mobile is awesome for having a map on hand of your local mall. And i like MobileRSS, for if you keep up with certain blogs via Google Reader, you can read them on the go with this app. GasBuddy is great for finding the lowest gas in the area. Some of these apps are free some aren't..i forget which ones i paid for. :)

And of course the standards..The Weather Channel app and Facebook..can't live without em. :)

AroundMe! When you open it, it zeros in on your position, and you can find out what restaurants, gas stations, coffee shops, etc. are nearby, how far away they are, etc.

I think I search for iPhone apps here, and someone mentioned it.

Kindle - syncs to the furthest page read on my Kindle and vice versa

Flight Track Pro - keeps flight data and provides alerts

My TSA - provides airport information (delays, security checkpoint wait times) and reminders about what is permissible in carry-on

Rocket Taxi - allows you to find and call nearby cabs; has a trip calculator

Siri Assistant - you can ask it anything (e.g. what movies are playing today) - it's sort of like voice-operated Google

Good Food, Local Eats, and Yelp for restaurant recs on-the-go

ConvertBot - to convert currency, temperatures, etc.

AwesomeNote and Evernote - for organizing notes

Gymboss - an interval timer and stopwatch

Red Laser - lets you barcode scan items and see if they are cheaper elsewhere

Angry Birds, Flight Control, DoodleJump, Bookworm, Skee Ball - totally addicting fun

Instant Poetry - just like magnetic poetry of the past

10 Pin Shuffle - shuffle bowl

BBBox Pro - sound effects machine (I purchased this for use in my middle school classroom)

LoMob, Plastic Bullet, Diptic, and Color Splash - for fun with photo effects

IncrediBooth - like an old-fashioned photo booth

iParty - like Catchphrase - I am about to chaperone a group of HS students overseas, and I think this will be a great way to pass time

Twitterific - if you tweet

Um, yeah, I might have a problem... :p
