Favorite Body Part/Accomplishment

Okay, there have probably been dozens of threads like this, but I think it's fun from time to time to revisit the subject...what are your favorite body parts/accomplishments. Sometimes I think I should be more sculpted after a year and a half, but then I stop to realize how far I've come in that year. So I'll start:

In a year and a half I've lost 44 pounds and gone from a strict couch potatoe to exercise freak (I mean that in a good way). :)

I've lost more than 45 inches all over.

My favorite body part is my back. I am seeing some nice sculpting back there! :) Second would be my upper abs and third probably my bicep area.

How about you?

This is fun! I'm trying to be more positive toward my body so I've decided I like all of it. Because of all the things it does for me and because I'm healthy and by exercising I'm keeping it that way.

Don't get me wrong I do have body parts I would prefer to change, however, I'm trying to focus on the overall picture and less on specific parts.

Have a great day!

This year has been not so good as far as working out goes :( But when I do get back into it, my favorite body part is my shoulders. They look great if I stick with upper body routines, and it's amazing how easily it puts my whole body into proportion.

Now, since I haven't worked out much this year, I'm very proud of the boobs I grew :) Who knew I even had them????!!

:D

my fav body part is my arms they are very sculpted and strong. My legs are also strong but not as defined.my accomplishment would be doing bfl and having 6 pack abs, losing 40# (earlier when I started working out)and my final one is that I am able to lift #40 db(80#total) for overhead press for 5 reps:7 very proud of myself(big pat on the back);-) That was done yesterday.
sara I would be surprised if I grew boobs I've never had them;) always been a b cup:(

My arms and abs are perfection incarnate. Now if only I could get my thighs and face to match! In the last year I have lost 10 pounds and really gotten much stronger, but I don't look much different.

my favorite would have to be shoulders. My accomplishment so far is my upper back and my shoulders. My abs are so and so but I would never show it anyway with all the stretch marks i have from pregancy, LOL.

RE: (((sara)))Favorite Body Part/Accomplishment

How did you grow boobs? I need an effective way- the more I do cardio the smaller they get- at least it seems that way- of course the fat would come off of them instead of my upper hamstrings....lol

I'd have to say my fav body part is my the front of my thighs....I'm really strong there- now if the rest of the legs would go along with it- I'd be all set- I'm getting there though- more cathe- more results!

Thanks! I guess I never thought about putting it on the success forum because I only found Cathe about 3-4 months ago....hum, maybe I'll give this some thought. :)

RE: (((sara)))Favorite Body Part/Accomplishment

Hahahaha.... I never had any either, because I've been very active for a very long time. Since I've been detained, I realized I am actually a girl! :) As soon as I get back into exercising regularly, I'm going to have to pull out the padded bras again. Not so proud of the rest of me right now, though :(

Mine is my back, though I dream of having a wider (just a tad) lat spread to balance my upper and lower body.

I also like my shoulders a lot.:)

I like threads like this because while I have definitely packed on pounds this winter and tend to get down on myself, I need to focus on the positives. My legs are probably my favorite/strongest body part. They are thick and I never wear skirts because they look like tree trunks (they don’t taper at the ankle), but they are strong. I did Slow and Heavy legs this a.m. and used 65# for static lunges. When they are at rest, you can’t see definition, because of the overlaying fat, but when they are flexed, you can see muscle. The other day I was standing on my toes trying to reach something and my husband said, “Yowza, look at your calves Jilly!” Maybe he was scared, but I took it as a compliment.

Yep, that's what I'm talking about! Focusing on the positives...I also tend to focus on the parts that need fixing! And, may I say WOW on the 65# for static lunnges! WOW!

This is a good thread. My favorite body part would have to be my abs. That is the only place I don't tend to hold a lot of fat. I also love to do ab and core work. I am really trying to focus on my glutes and thighs. I would like to get them lean..

Have a great day!!! :)
