Favorite ab workout

I have recently acquired many of Cathe's DVDs and know that alot of them have ab routines on them. I am going to try to do most of them and see what I like the best, but I was wondering what Cathe ab routine you guys like the best. I have done all of the Core Max workouts and like those alot, but sometimes I just don't have 20 min to do abs. I look forward to hearing your favorites.

When I am in a pinch for time. I just lay on the floor and start crunching. All angles and this Saturday I did 200 non stop because DH wanted to leave and I had no time so I kept going.

I really like the ab work from Kick, Punch & Crunch. I usually feel it the next day and it's short!

My second choice would be Muscle Max. Also short!:)

I rarely do the segments from Core Max because they are too long for me.

I'd love to hear everyone's fave ab rountines also. I love coremax and the other of Cathe's --don't have them all-- but seem to be adapting to the same ole same ole and have stalled in results.
 
Definitely Core Max. I have a pretty good weighted routine I do once a week at the gym, but it doesn't give me the burn the way Core Max does.

Usually I do sec. 2&3 together, but last week I did 1&3. Sometimes we forget that some of the best workouts are those without the gadgets. Sec. 1 really killed me & I could barely move my neck for the next 2 days. :p
 
My all time fave is Coremax with the med ball, I love med ball abs!

If you have the BootCamp DVD, give the core only premix a go. It's short and sweet and gives me a nice buzz through the core. I also like KPC abs, especially the ball exchange, you just know your working all of those stubborn little fibres!

Lately it's MM abs I've been doing most often, great oblique work.

I second (or is it third?) KPC abs. Man, those get me every time!!!

I have recently been very humbled by P90X Ab Ripper X, but that isn't what you asked...

I've enjoyed the BC ab only premix, too! "enjoyed", LOL...
 
High Step Challenge ab work is pretty good and not that long. I have CoreMax and Ab Hits, too, and I tend to do the latter more frequently because you can mix and match various exercises. I don't always feel like doing a long ab workout after everything else...

I love section 3 and the tough core premix on Core Max, but I often don't do them because they're too long. I probably reach for KPC the most because it's quick and effective. I also really like the BC core only premix as well as PUB abs.
 
I like about any of Cathe's ab work. Coremax is great but for shorter workouts my fav's would be KPC or PUB abs as I love using the stability ball...:)
 
ME abs absolutely - that and PUB abs are the only ones that totally humble me. KPC is great as well.

I like the abs mix on CTX, too. I'll so one or more if I can.
 
I love the ab work on: Cardio & Weights; Slow & Heavy Triceps; Muscle Max; Bootcamp and Muscle Endurance! I find these more effective than Core Max. Step, Jump and Pump abs is good also!
 
I love the medicine ball side to side for obliques
Stability ball with arms straight out behind head (above head) coming up. Laying on the floor with one arm straight out above head the other behind head supporting elbow lift one leg while crunching. I don't know the name but I started doing them with Denise Austin and I was happy to see Cathe does too. Lay on your side come up to T-stand hand behind your head and crunch down to touch opposite hand on floor supporting your body. I am trying to be patient with sitting indian style and lifting off the floor I think I might like it IF I CAN GET OFF THE FLOOR! I also think I will love the pikes when I can do them non-stop as Cathe.



On the other hand I HATE Reverse crunches with standard crunch where you bring everything up and in. YUCK!!!

So Karin, it seems with all the different "favorites" posted here, we'll have to purchase all Cathe dvds which have ab/core work.;-)
 
I haven't been able to bring myself to like ANY ab/core routines...Though I can DEAL with Cathe's better than any other out there...Not much help??
