Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I had another great workout week -

MON- Step jump and Pump up until the the 3rd jump and pump section - I will have to use the pre-mix of step and pump for this one in the future.
TUES - Muscle Endurance upper body and hi/lo and step class at aerobics studio
WEDS - Jiggle Free Buns + cooking for Thanksgiving
THURS - 3 mile power walk + hosting Thanksgiving for my family.
FRI - Rest day and shopping
SAT - hi/lo and step class at aerobics studio

SUN - Scheduled -LoMax parts 1-4

For all you ladies who already have children I am in awe of you. I was really tired Thursday night after two busy days and couldn't even imagine having a little one at home to care for in addition to being so tired and getting all the stuff I needed to get done done. So hats off to all of you.

I'm now at week 16. On Friday I had fun shopping with my Mom . I have the opportunity to put some extra time in at work so I have a really great clothing budget right now and I had some fun buying clothes. I'm set for a while now.
It is really cool how they make pregnancy shirts so they look good on you know and how they will grow with you. I little bit of spandex is your friend.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone else

Hi, Tuvak--

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving. Our family hosted it and I did most of the cooking, but my MIL brought turkey and ham and normal stuffing and some friends brought rolls and drinks. No ugly political arguements! That was the best part. I don't mind a hearty discussion, but unfortunately with family it can get nasty and instead things were very tame. We had prayed extensively before hand and our prayers were answered. I was plum worn out by Thursday afternoon, however, and have felt pretty sluggish the past couple of days.

My workouts:
Mon-PS BB (no abs)
Tues-50 min stationary bike
Wed-w/u+step of SJP+Body Fusion w/heavier weights
Thurs-rest
Fri-MM timesaver+30 min stationary bike intervals
Sat-Low Max step only premix+Imax 2 step only
Sun-will do MM upper body premix

I have recently been able to go up on some of my weights and I feel happy about that, since my cardio capacity is somewhat diminished.

I look forward to hearing about everyone's week

Maggie
34 weeks down, 6 to go:p

Hi everyone. I'm in that limbo time--keeping the house in order, not venturing too far from home, and trying to interpret every little twitch and rumble. I have read three not-so-slim novels in the past week I am so anxious to pass the time. I'm going back to the dr tomorrow and we'll start to talk induction. But at least it let us have a nice, quiet Thanksgiving. We cooked just for the two of us and had a nice day watching movies. We kenneled the dogs for the weekend just in case and now it looks like it was for nothing. Poor things. Well, at least I'm sure that by this time next week, one way or another, I won't be pg anymore.

Sounds like you are doing well, Monica, despite the fact that you are a little past your due date. I'm usually a basket case by the very end. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving. This will probably be your last week. We'll miss ya!

Look forward to the good news.

Maggie:)

Monica, how frustrating to be past your due date. Hope that baby comes soon.
Maggie, good job increasing your weights.
Tuvak, I am at almost 14 weeks and bought some great maternity clothes, old navy is my favorite. Great workout week.

Guess we are one short as Mel abandoned us. Congrats!

Workout week:
Sun-basic step and body sculpting plus rhonda's triple surge workout or whatever its called.
Mon-stepheaven-seg. 1 and 3 + solid gold cardio abs
Tues-hi/lo heaven-seg. 1 and 3
Wed-travel and shop
Thurs-firm strength
Fri-firm cardio
Sat-tae bo live vol. 1

I am definitely looking preggo and have outgrown much of my transition wear. I did get some nice maternity wear at old navy, target and suprisingly marshalls.

We were away for thanksgiving at my in laws. Alexis had a blast with her 3 year old cousin. We shopped tons, more for me though than gifts.

Hi everyone!

I am definitely slowing down as each week goes by. Like Maggie, my cardio capacity has diminished. Also, I just got over a sinus infection. In addition, I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot, but I've had that all along. I'm trying to avoid any impact since I weigh quite a bit. :p

Here are the workouts I managed to do this week:

Sun: Body said rest, so I listened.
Mon: 1 mile walk, Supersets
Tue: Rest - got home from work at 8:00 PM, was exhausted
Wed: 16 miles stationary bike (about 45 minutes)
Thu: Low Impact Step, lower body portions of Total Body Sculpting
Fri: Cardio & Weights Compound & Heavy Weights Premix
Sat: IMAX3 step portion only

Tuvak - You have now reached the best of the three trimesters. :) Spandex is definitely your friend - I wish I'd known that earlier when I bought maternity shirts. I'm resorting to wearing my husband's double-XL sweaters that shrunk in the dryer.

Maggie - Hooray, we are in the home stretch! With my in-laws, we have banned political conversations from the dinner table, since no one (except for me, haha) can present their views without being antagonistic. Since family friends were present this year, everyone had to be on their best behavior.

Monica - I look forward to reading your birth story. I hope the birth happens soon and that all goes very smoothly.

Shopaholic: I bought most of my maternity clothes at Old Navy and Target. I'm getting by with the under-the-belly pants I bought - they tend to slide down, which is odd because my hips are definitely big enough to hold them up at this point!

I hope you all have a great week.

hey guys

glad everyone had a good holiday week and weekend. kudos to all you shoppers. i don't think i deal so well with the crowds - must feel good to get started on the presents though.

we had a nice and quiet thanksgiving. the weather is definately muckier, so my workouts have gone indoors a bit. but i have kept up, which feels good, and hopefully makes up for all the pie i consumed!

1. sunday - spinning class
2. mon - run 7 miles, strength 30 minutes
3. tue - run 6 miles
4. weds - eliptical 60 min, muscles endurance
5. thursd - run 7 mil
6. fri - run 6 mil, 25 min muscle conditioning
7. sat run 7 mil

i am getting quite winded and tired by the end of my runs. just starting week 10 and my belly has a little roll of fat not there 2 wks ago. makes my smaller pants too tight, the normal ones fit okay. i wonder how long before i look pregnant and not just chubby.

those of you who do imax, which do you prefer, 2 or 3?

Back in the pre-pregnancy day, when I could do the IMax workouts, I found IMax3 to be much more challenging than IMax2. I could do IMax2 with an 8 inch step (2 risers on each side) but not IMax3.
I think the music is better in IMax3 - I only hear it now because I do the step-only premix. Before, there could have been marching band music in the background and I wouldn't have noticed because I was so winded!

I didn't start to "show" at all until week 17. Here at week 35, I think I'm getting bigger by the day!

Well,
I have had two rest days now. Sundays workout didn't happen because of a migraine and today is the 7th day in a row I have had a migraine and I snapped. I came home and cried about it, then took a long nap. I'm sick of my head hurting and worried because I'm having to take so much migraine medication. I'm basically functioning in a fog with a low grade headache for 7 days. It is getting really really old.

DH wants me to try seeing a chiropractor - I'm going to give it a try and am also setting up a Doctor's appointment.

Funny about how people are different with showing. I'm 16 weeks and not showing - I'm still fitting into all my pants but had to get new shirts cause I feel that I look pouchy with my fitted tucked in shirts but everyone at work keeps telling me I don't. I'm convinced I'll wake up and be popped out so I'm ready with the clothes hoping to avoid a clothing meltdown some morning.

MORRIS - I continue to be impressed with your workouts.

Morris, great job with your workouts, listen to your body when it tells you to slow down.At 10 weeks during my first pregnancy, I barely looked pregnant and was doing imax 2. This time around I look more pregnant and my bladder won't let me do those plyos.
Tuvak, does your doctor have any concerns over you seeing a chiropractor pregnant? I was debating calling one.
Adriene, wow, you didn't show until 17 weeks? At 14 weeks, my boobs have gotten huge and my tummy looks pregnant. I have way outgrown my regular clothes, but in my defense they were size 0's and 1's so maybe that's why the weight is coming on so quick.

Tuvak, just so you don't feel I am superthin prepreggo , I am not even 5 feet tall with a small build. I now need a 6 or an 8 for my belly!
