Why do they need your credit card number to use this (application?)?

What is the pros and cons.

I'm wondering if I should use this on my website.

I don't know about this app, but I personally would not sign up for anything on Facebook that asked for a CC#.

Thats so that they can leak your personal information to paying companies.

I don't use Facebook at all. I'm not confident their "privacy" settings are really private.
