Does anyone else use an EZ Curl Barbell for their weight workouts?
I'm fortunate, in that my husband has a full set of weight equipment in our workout room. He has over 500lb in various plates, a full rack of dumbells, preacher stand, etc. And in the corner he had an EZ Curl Barbell and Tricep Bar. One day I thought I would give the EZ Curl Bar a try instead of the straight barbell and I was amazed that it helped me exhibit better form for barbell curls. You can keep your elbows nicely tucked in at your sides and it seemed to take the stress off of my elbows. Plus I was able to lift heavier. Next I'm going to try the Tricep Bar when doing Cathe's Tricep work and see how it goes.
I have tried these bars in the past but never realized that they really do help with your form. Oh, I forgot to add that he also has a regular Doctor's Scale for weighing yourself. That, I don't even go near.
