Hi! I'm a newbie here, just gave birth to our third (6 weeks ago, today) and am anxious to get back into shape! I am nursing the baby, and have heard that exercise produces lactic acid in breastmilk. Does anyone know if it shows up immediately after exercise? The conventional wisdom is to nurse right before working out, but I want to develop an early morning habit. If I nurse the baby before, that means I have to wake him up early. Is it possible to work out, THEN nurse? Or am I asking for trouble?
