I FELL AND BUSTED MY BUTT ON SOME ICE. NOW MY WHOLE RIGHT SIDE IS SORE. THIS HAPPENED SATURDAY NIGHT. I DO CATHE'S BUTT'S AND GUTS EVERYNIGHT. I NEED TO KNOW DO I GIVE MY BODY A BREAK OR DO I JUST DO IT ANYWAYS. I CAN STILL LUNGE BUT MY KNEE IS SORE AND I DON'T WANT TO MAKE IT WORSE,BUT I DO FEEL HORRIBLE WHEN I MISS A NIGHT
 
Oh man, sorry you hurt yourself :( I would give yourself a rest, though I know it sucks to miss a workout. We've ALL been there.

Just out of curiosity, why are you doing B&G every single day? No workout is good to do day in and day out. They lose effectiveness after a while. Cathe has many good workouts that will burn your bum if that's what you're looking for :)

I am sorry to hear this! How painful. Like Debbie asked, why are you doing "legs" everyday? I know just how it is to be a fanatic about things, believe me, but please know that muscles need time to heal and repair. That is how muscles develop (in a very watered-down version!).
Please consider other things (upper body, cardio, etc) besides just legs and butt everyday. Just a thought.
Also, please rest during this injury until you recover. you can work other body parts while your lower half heals. Best of luck!

I'M JUST TRYING TO DO SOMETHING ( EVEN IF IT IS STUPID) UNTIL I GET THE PROPER WEIGHTS TO DO THE FOUR DAY SPLIT. I ONLY HAVE 5 AND 10LB DUMBELLS. I USE MY 4YR OLD DOING THE SQUATS IN B&G. I KNOW I SHOULD BE SOMETHING MORE BUT IT JUST DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT WITHOUT THE PROPER STUFF. I AM OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS SINCE I KNOW I'M NOT DOING EVERYTHING I COULD BE.
 
Do you already own the 4 day split and are just waiting to get heavier weights?? If so then do cardio every other day atleast and give B&G a breather. :)
 
If you are using only one DVD because you don't have others or the weights you need, do you have access to FitTV? They have lots of programs that you can do until you are able to rotate different exercises.

Even walking, biking or running around with your 4 yr old would be something different.

Hope your soreness goes away soon.
