Escape Your Shape readers..a question

I have heard a lot about this book lately, here on the forum and elsewhere - before I consider getting it, can anyone tell me what in a nutshell he recommends for "apple" bodied women as opposed to "pears" ? I read he promotes high reps with low weights in the problem area for bottom - heavy women. Does the same logic hold for top-heavy women too? Thanks in advance.
